I'm tipping Magner is playing on the ball today? Wonder if he will get a run through there during the season? Seems to play better as a ball winner/midfielder than a defensive forward.

sylvia has more talent that everyone out there but yet again disappointing

been a long term supporter but im losing the faith after watchin him have little interest last week as well

lacklustre

At half time, Sylvia has not had a single handball.

I couldn't work out why Neeld tried him as a defensive forward when was doing so well as a mid.

Why are there so many whingers on this forum??? The commentators are giving Melbourne a wrap saying that we are moving the ball well and putting on good pressure. It's just that they don't know our players names.

Let up on the complaining for a change ! Turn off if you don't like it! Or even better some of the people that are on this forum could actually say something positive.

Commentary not too bad. They don't know all our players but they aren't anywhere near as bad as previous years.

Always has. Definitely putting his hand up today. Good to...hear.

Probably trying to teach him the defensive side of the game. He wouldn't be the only ball winning mid in the comp with ordinary disposal by foot. Brad Sewell & Shane Tuck come to mind.

The commentators have no intention of mentioning (or even knowing) melbourne players, other than those recruited from SA. Unprofessional!!!!! Anywhere in the world (except Argentina!)

Sylvia has 6 possessions and 1 handball. His name has not been mentioned ONCE!!!!!!!

I have heard him called.

If Sylvia doesn't murder them in this second half he shouldn't play Round 1. Sick of it.

Magner is another in and under mid and last year with Jones,Beamer,Mckenzie and Magner it was too much of the same. I agree he is a better ball winner then anything else but we need someone to handball it to out of the pack. He was tried as a bit of a tagger too last year and that didn't work.

Dead set, the Sylvia talk on this forum is nothing short of ridiculous.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
