CONDUCT UNBECOMING

The horse has run its course, time to delete threads like this and move on.

Especially those who wrongly predicted massive and disastrous penalties that would have wiped out a couple of seasons worth of draft picks, big fines and the end of a few careers would want this hidden away now.

Lol. this threads like the city on a Saturday Night, i well let the rest of you throat slitters figure that out.

I feel the club has shown unity throughout this farce.

Certainly the board has shown unity of purpose.

The administration seems pretty tight.

The football department & the playing group seem fully focused.

"He talks about stuff being leaked to The Age. He goes to a fairly full length to say there is some conspiracy theory."

"I have been lined up by certain people at the club, these are the same people who lined me up to move sideways from football manager"

For all those worried about this business forever tarnishing us as tankers have a a squiz at today's papers. Nary a mention of anything to do with tanking save a couple of articles that are critical of the AFL in regard to having the incentive in place.

The back of the Hun screams about tiered ticket prices. The Bombers will be back in the news soon and the NAB cup will fill space. The journos are combing social media for the next juicy beat up.

In a weeks time most people won't even remember the dees were investigated little lone brand us tankers. Yesterday news, today's virtual chip wrapppers.

Not one person will care about Melbourne.

Winning fixes a lot of problems. Melbourne storm moved on pretty quick after their sanctions. If we continue to have terrible seasons the media will stay on top of us and our "tanking"

What Tanking, were cleared of that, thats a silly post, were NOT guilty.

I know we are not guilty but many will call us tankers and the point of my post was that if we lose plenty of games many in the media will ask if the investigation and sanctions have taken a toll on the playing group and club. I don't agree with the question but I could see them asking it.

Then we better start winning.

you miss the point completely. I am not getting angry. I just believe we ALL deserve more answers.

OK Apols. Was written in haste. I think in time we deserve answers. Its a boys club so don't expect any soon.

and looking at carlton.

hutchy even raised the point that going lower for draft picks is trying to win a flag in a few years time, not this year.

asking why brisbane arent being investigated.

lyon thinks winning wasnt our top priority - but thats true, development was.

Its over, many of us don't like it in some respects ( for me its the AFL 's missed opportunity, Gillon another 35-40 yo AFL wizzkid who I wonder if kanckers have dropped ? Plus a very dodgy position vivs a vis club. Nothing at all so far to make a call on him other than limp party line) but time to move on. Had a chance to get t right but blew it maybe.

I doubt if therewill be any more answeres Fitzpatrick and co have not implicated other clubs. Some may call it spineless, but there you go.

jeff just said what libba said was way worse than what brock said.

wonders why carlton arent investigated if melbourne were.

makes me glad i watching it tonight

now can the afl look at carlton .....

Ok, how do we contact CH9 to let them know this was the best FC we've ever seen? ... and we want them to keep the current panel. I'm serious!

Ring them many times...

Do you know who the other recruiting officer was?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
