AFL Indigenous All Stars

Looks like the game isn't going to be televised on ABC. :(

Channel 9 have three hours of "TO BE CONFIRMED" in their programming for that night though, which perhaps suggests they are considering sending a team up to cover it?

Surprised D-Rod didn't get the nod. Hopefully Aaron has a good game and gets some confidence out of it, really want to see I'm finish on a high.

Aaron Davey has always had confidence in his footy, the injuries and fitness issues have cruelled for last couple of years, spoke to him last week, feeling on top of the world

Heard on SEN today the game will be streamed on RFC and AFL sites.

That is it.

So Buddy and Cyril have now been ruled out of the All Stars team and let's not forget there are five Bombers in the squad to "supplement" the line up.

Should they really be called the All Stars?

I read that the captain of the team is now Nathan Lovett-Murray which is a great choice.

I don't believe there's any need to discriminate against any of the Essendon players at this time over the other issue.

I would have liked Aaron Davey to be part of the team's leadership group. He really has done a lot of good things for his people and notwithstanding his last couple of seasons, I'd like to think he could help lead this side and do a good job as vice captain.

Many opposition supporters have re-joiced in the Tanking issue. I dont see any use of Demon supporters behaving in a similar way towards the Bombers.

I hate the Bumbers, but I'll give them the right to reply to these allegations.

Saw Dom Barry on the 7 news sitting next to Mick O'Loughlin and dressed in the Indigenous outfit with other selected players, so I expect he's in the side due to a number of injuries.

trying to work out if i'm happy with that or not - fingers crossed

That would be a little unfair. 2 vs 22. Although with Nic Nat in the side, I'll be RangeRover would be betting his house on a Fiji victory.

Don't forget alipate carlile and tom nicholls too ;) Cousin and a familyfriend of ours ;)

Guys I think the reason no one is interested in televising it is that no one cares.

TV has decided low audience, so low interest from them.

I must say I agree.

My only interest is to make sure no Dees player is injured.

I wish this was televised, I'm chomping at the bit for footy to start..

Richmond will give them a belting I reckon..

Put in Buddy, Cyril, Burgoyne, Wells, Varcoe, Walker, Garlett, Yarran, A. Goodes, Brennan, Hill and Johnson.. I bet I'm missing some stars.. Oh Dom Barry..

Tigers would have no chance..

Aaron Davey collects brilliantly from. Ryder tap. Passes as only he can for a jones goal.

Nev Jett playing up back. Dom seemingly not playing, copped plenty of local media and fanfare being an Alice boy though.

Facet? On the iPhone. Davey. Whilst we're at it he just dropped a sidder on the wing. Not a good look.

it's on afl website, live video stream. Quality's a bit crap though.

Tigers can't keep up . All stars running. 9th looking probable for the Tiges.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
