I will have to move it, turns out I'm in NZ for a conference that weekend.

Enjoy NZ.

I am not sure but the 17th I will have a supercoach draft...

AFL starts on 22nd so maybe we do it on the 17th and I suck it up...

3rd might be a tad early...

RPFC - As of today I also have a SuperCoach Draft on the 17th March.

I am in favour of March 3rd , from memory we drafted much earlier in 2012

Over to the masses for input, my vote MARCH 3

the week long draft with 10 hours between picks could also be an option, if its hard to sure up a time!

it stops people from missing the draft and having to rely on their pre draft determined picks

The only problem with a long time between picks is that it's impossible to know how long you actually have.

If you've just had a pick and its ten hours between, your next pick might be 350 hours away or it could be less than an hour away. I think it needs to be short and sharp.

Yes, and mid-week is tough for me as I have footy training Tues and Thurs and bball Weds.

March 3 is ok - I mean, injuries pre-season are unfortunate but they happen...

That and it'd potentially take 6 months to complete the draft...

March 3 isn't good for me. I'm stupidly driving to Renmark to watch the Dees play. You can't punish me for this can you??

We can and will!

Look, I am good for Monday nights usually...

We could do the 18th?

How are Monday's?

And, IIRC, we can split it up should it get to 'long in the tooth' so to speak...

With people playing sport, maybe we could have this over 2 weekday evenings, starting at maybe 8:30? Have 2 minute time limit per picks between 8:30-10:30?

I think MOnday 18th is winning for me.

Slow drafts do not work, and I can't configure it like you have said here robbo.

ANy complaints about Monday? It is impossible to get everyone at once, this might have to do. 7:00pm is my preferred time, but happy to be guided.

Yes, 18th of March (I take it's not Mon 18th of Feb) is good by me. If we could push it back a bit from 7pm ie.8pm?

Last year I was in all sorts at 7pm (kids) and ended up with LeCras (knee)...lol (if you all remember - my fault I know) *sigh*

Still a fan of Sunday March 3rd.

If it has to be Monday 18th 7.00pm can we at least stick to 60 seconds between each pick.

This was so much better than our 1st attempt in 2011 @ 5 minutes between picks.

Prefer 7.00pm start if Monday.

I normally work 12 hours on Monday's so every chance of falling asleep mid draft if we start to much later.

JCB - Does not seem to have landed in the Comp yet?

Come on boy's we need to get around JCB and assist him with his entry.

Old Monster Head has been an integral part of this comp since day one, wouldn't be the same without him.

PS : Who's Hollywood? Happy to have him onboard just need him to identify via Demonland Name before we start sledging!

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
