i quoted RobbieF's paragraph so how do you come to that conclusion??

2nd line of what you quoted from 45HG.....might give you a hint.

HSOG

Ok, let's pretend I am an ex-board member for a moment. What difference would that make? None. If anything, it would make things worse because you would have to assume that I know something of what I am talking about. I know everyone here thinks I am horribly biased - this is not exactly news. But it doesn't change the facts and it doesn't make me wrong.

RF

Let's not pretend let's take it as read you are an ex Board member and we can therefore assume that anything you say comes from a position of bias, I guess we could see that in your posting anyway.

HSOG

Boring. Changes nothing.

This is the exchange between he and i and you can make of it what you want, I'm sure RR will but he refuses to deny it after repeated requests and his only response was Boring.

Fair enough. I only saw your post which as 45HG said probably should have had a question mark.

I would be very surprised if Hazy would run a PM chat with Robbie F.

And if he has not admitted to and has refuted in the past to being a board member, I would not think Robbie F would be one to confide in if he were.

Unless Robbie can produce the post I think he is making up based on his own repeated assertions.

You should use some greater caveat emptor in what you believe.

Can you show me where he did.

Clearly you have made what you want out of it.

And a refusal to deny does not in any way represent any confirmation of Hazy's status. This is more a reflection of what you want to believe Robbie rather what is actually fact.

Keep dreaming Sherlock.....

Can you show me where he did.

I'll let you do some hard research Robbie. You are on a roll.

Then let him deny it.

It's as easy as that, isn't it?

Aah so there is no actual admission, just ongoing denial.

It read to me as if you had an actual admission in words via PM.

my take on both of the above is hazy had a strong connection to the Gardner Board. Whether he was an actual member is hard to say.

I think ADC has had dealings with CS & or CC & Wishes that he had been part of the Gardner Board.

Just a hunch.

To anyone on Demonland or anywhere else who have personal agenda's with board members, ex board members or alleged board members grow up and move on. Your childish actions are hurting my god damn club. I know nothing about board members or if Schwabb is doing a good job or not. I'm just a bloke who pays up and goes to games. Leaking info to try to over throw a board hurts my club whilst you try to pursue your agenda's. You don't love the club you love yourself.

I don't see how that says he was a past board member - or even why his ongoing defence of the previous board is a sign that he is.

If someone comes on and supports the current board, I don't assume they're on it.

A clear axe to grind, regardless, IMO.

I also highly doubt adc is a former board member.

Then let him deny it.

It's as easy as that, isn't it?

Does not have to do anything.

Especially when you have already made :"fact" out of fiction.

Even easier.

At the time of the tanking I had mixed feelings about it. If it was good for the club I was prepared I accept it. But they had to get it 100% right or else there was a huge price to pay. Failure of this magnitude should only lead to swift removal of those responsible. They also hopelessly blundered the development of our next generation of junior players and caused open revolt amongst senior players. And other sins not yet revealed. They have no clue to how to build a successful club. CS had left in disgrace his previous CEO appoints and burned too many good people along the way. His tenure at 3 clubs shows a net return of only 2 finals appearances in 16 or so seasons. Given their track record I am a 100% convinced nothing will change next season if they remain and it could be a fatal disaster if this is allowed to happen.

care to elaborate?

It read to me as if you had an actual admission in words via PM.

Caveat Emptor.....

Caveat Emptor.....

to RobbieF maybe. I would not make that assumption myself unless i had it in writing. Still doesn't change what i think though. Hazy comes across as a personal friend of Gardners, & there is nothing wrong with that. His personal attacks on others are a little to strong to be just an onlooker.

No, you said he had denied it so back it up, you expect no less from others.

In the context of what WYL was responding to and taking the entire contents (2 lines) of WYL's post (especially the "Always thought so" line) into consideration, it was pretty apparent that he was posing a question to RF.

Anyway, this topic was concerning ADC and on that matter, I would think he is just an attention seeking troll (tautology, I know) that has absolutely no connection with the club (not even as a supporter).

correct.

Whether or not the individuals discussed on this thread have had positions of influence within the club or not I have often wondered how much demonland was being used to push political agenda.

Personally I don't like it and it affects the integrity of the site. It is no fault of the site itself rather a failing of the ethics of these faceless wimps.

He is just a troll - nothing more. His name is a Colombian football team and his favourite players are leaders of a drug cartel.

He might go for the dees but he motivated more by annoying everyone. Welcome to an internet troll

amen!

I wonder how close Paul Gardner and Mike Sheahen are?

No to you. Well you made the assumption that Robbie F was right with no factual basis to do so.

And FTR, I reckon Hazy has copped more than he has given.

No, you said he had denied it so back it up, you expect no less from others.

Frankly I could not give a stuff if he was or not.

I do think its mischievous to make a statement to clearly implicate a poster to a certain group of people when you clearly dont have any facts.

I acknowledged that in post #27 but keep up the good work.

Bottom line is he just likes the attention.

He is like a peacock, without the flashy feathers to draw the attention and without the pea.

Each to their own

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
