If the saints win the second half by 98, this will be one of the greatest days in human history. It could only be better if Scully was out there.

Press on for 191 you bastages.

What's wrong with that little sack of doubloons, dropped or "injured"?

I know it's only 3-4 minutes into the third, but they look completely disinterested in the second so far.

If only Lynden Dunn was playing for the Giants...

I saw the score, moment I switch on GWS got a goal. Switching off right now!

Sack the coach!!

Seriously though, given that the Saints need percentage to push for a finals spot, they should be going at it right to the end, so this could be a monumental blowout.

Game's finished dude - and percentage is the one thing the Saints don't need...

Well, don't spoil it for me. I'm catching the delayed telecast.

Not a big fan of Sheedy whose coaching at the end for the Bombers and this year with the Giants has been woeful but he won me over with his slagging off at that arrogant piece of crud Paul Roos. Check out this video on YouTube:

Well said by Sheedy on this occasion, I will give him that. Roo's showed his true colours particularly when he laid the boots into the Dee's recently.

Both of them however, are quite good at running with the hare and hunting with the hounds.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
