Respect for all players is not good. Some are preferred over others ....

You're a few years out of date. If ever there was a "earn your place, no matter who you are", it's Neeld. Bailey never dropped Moloney, Green and Davey. Not even going to start on Daniher.

Poor post.

Just watched the coaches office with Robbo and Neeld. I was trying to make out what picture Neeld had pinned up on his notice board over his right shoulder. Pretty sure it's one of the earliest pictures of him and Neil Craig in deep thought at Gosch's paddock.

I wonder if he has a caption on it.

Yes such excitement!

You can just feel the solidarity! mmmmm inhale and exxxxhaaaleeee!!! ahhhhhh!

Hang on ... Is that RR peeing at the front gate again!

Common now boys. Green was Captain under Bailey. I do recall him as a sub?? Bailey at least won a few games . He was hands tied to some point to the extent ..a la the TANK. Thus the need was not as great to drop Moloney. Not sure Moloney should have been dropped under Bailey's reign anyway.

Stop defending Neeld. Let him show something. All agreed apart from RR (who only wants to commit to next year 2013) that Neeld will coach to at least 2014. No sense in bagging out on Bailey or Daniher. Finals were nice under ND so not sure what that's about!! Can recall one Finals game V Crows at the G . UP WHITEY we would chant!! Went close but lost.

If Melbourne plays finals under Neeld will be 2015 or later...new contract necessary and that's too far down the track.

See how we go Sunday. No excuses if we can't beat GC.

Heaven forbid someone should come into this club with the balls to take some punishnent. I just wish we had more players like him.

It was Melbourne or Ocean Grove for Neeld. Try to understand this concept. No other club wanted him including Collingwood. Buckley also wanted a clear out.

I only have the one block, though i have to say posts like this certainly make me consider doubling the blocks. I tend to not read your posts in full thaiman but this being unusually short and sharp i got to the end of it before skipping it.

How on gods earth can you say with such confidence that no 'other club wanted him including Collingwood'. If you have evidence of this please share. If not and it is just your opinion then give us a spell - i mean 'try to understand this concept'? Pleeeease!

He has no evidence of anything.

Yet another barrow-pushing poster. The fundamentalists are making this site unappealing, and I visit less and less. Tedious, just tedious.

Only nine!

hey Old Dee! Can you ask Rangey what colour Fisherman Pants he wants ? Tell him I'll send him a pair with my love and appreciation of his most informative Polls.:)

ok

but you have to answer this bin man.

Why on earth wouldn't Neeld Coach into 2013? Not even media are suggesting he won't?? Very strange.....Again ...Who said he shouldn't and why the ridiculous poll? Isn't his contract end of 2014? It's a chunder poll we call it. RRover panicked!

Stupid Question!!! And 8 people said 'No'.

Im sceptical of Neeld's ability, but give the man a go. Its un Australian not to!!!!

I have no idea Thaiman, it wasn't my poll. You're right there is no way he's not going to not be at the dees next year and we would have to have a year worse than this one for him not be there in 2014. But if a weeks along time in football a years an epoch.

I don't believe in polls or contribute to them or search for supporters - you're not friends with the PM are you - she finds a positive in any poll result in some form or another.

This poll confirms that there are 9 idiots on this site.

probably a few more but they couldnt figure out how to vote...

Seems a few noisy numpties are carpet-bombing the site with anti-Neeld diatribes at the moment.

Let's see what kind of support they have among Melbourne supporters.

Simple yes or no poll.

one more year but there has to be improvement or he can go

To those 9 people that voted against Neeld, really should watch Coaches office this week.

One of the questions by a fan is how come we seem to win 3 games this season when we won 8 games with our playing list last year? and apparently according to neeld our list is less experience than our list last season, please watch full interview http://www.melbourne...50/default.aspx

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
