Morton - No.4 pick in 2007. What has he developed into? He is a soft and spineless player! I have never seen him win a contested possession.

You- Pick nothing, never. What have you developed into? A nothing, who sits on his armchair, eating crisps, potting players! I have never seen you win anything.

Morton far from the worst, and I have been a critique of Morton in the past. At least I can see an improvement.

I'm just going to throw my head phones into the wall at work and say F*&% a few more times today.

The last time I did we slammed on 3 quick goals.

Leave it to me.

Agree Morton far from our worst, in fact hes improving with every game lately.....

Trengove does nothing xept tackle and turn over. We arnt gonna win with him in the midfield sadly.

Riv working very hard. Getting a bit angry and frustrated as well.

Blease went missing in Q2. Tappy popped up for a couple.

Jones just looks that much fitter than almost every other Melbourne player.

Clark's 2nd effort tackle on Tarrant was nice too.

Overall, not hard enough. Not enough hard running especially.

Dayne Beams has torn us in half no input from Moloney or Garland today. Grimes is playing ok the rest need to earn their pay in the second half. A little bit of luck and we just might get back in it.

Im just sick of Howe Jones Clark Grimes being the only ones turning up everyweek

Playing on in contests, handballing to no one, being so unaware of whats around us, mucking up every run and carry, its just pathetic

and the umpiring yes is shocking - its amazing how many calls go against us. However it doesnt make any difference we would be battered anyway but the magner holding the ball decision could be the worst ive ever seen

And why is Swan not tagged. 23 touches with no one anywhere near him

If he was injured surely rhey'd rest Trenners? I really hope they are just putting so much work into his core strength for 2013 that he's wrecked for the weekend... Wishful thinking?

Who the hell is on Beams and Swan? They are tearing us apart. Jordie doing a good job on Daisey.

I used to think Trengove was just slow of foot, but he seems slow of mind too.

Biggest blunder ever not taking dusty martin. Now its starting to look like a double blunder

No need to judge me mate, i do not know you and you do not know me. I am a member and i have every right to comment on what i have 'witnessed' from certain players such as Morton over a number of years. And i am not alone in my opinion. Lastly, I am very successful in the career i chose mate so i suggest you keep your judgement to your own arm chair and the scales you stand on yourself!

Jordie needs to get touches, u dnt win games chasing other players around all day.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
