Can anyone remember a team worse than us right now?

Even Richmond at their worst ,port Adelaide, I defy anyone to say we are not the worst team of the modern era.

At least gws and gold coast have heart.

PLayers should be switched to incentive based pay, if they work hard tackle give effort all the way through the game the get their full wage, if they do it for 3/4, they get 3/4 their wage

this week they get no pay so far

Commentator: congratulations tommy walsh, dosnt get any easier then that

He aint lying!

Clark in the ruck

is this our 'game is over, who gives a [censored] anymore' tactic?

Clark in the ruck

is this our 'game is over, who gives a [censored] anymore' tactic?

If so, he should have started there...

COMEBACK

How can one take a list with so much (perceived) talent, and just absolutely positively f*** it all up so badly?? It's criminal what these coaches have done to this team - I can't name one player whose game has gone to a new level under Neeld, in fact absolutely everyone on our list has gone undoubtedly backwards.

Neeld walked in like a white knight saying 'I will coach the hardest team to play against in the comp', G Lyon and co got sucked in, creamed themselves and have apparently appointed the wrong bloke.

This team is a disgrace.

Sad pathetic football club.

Rivers.

Also Garland. Maybe McKenzie.

That's as far as I can get.

Jamar is nothing like he was in 2010. Moloney is woeful. Green is past it, Trengove looks like he has OP, Frawley is treading water (it's hard for him being a defender, though), Howe is useless so long as he can't kick, Petterd has gone backwards, as has Bennell...argh the list is just too long.

What a game...

Stay in Toronto GTG . Don't hurry back soon . You're safe over there .

Us Melbournians on the other hand are in for a torrid time . Oh , the humanity !

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
