YM was far more humorous.

He may as well be playing for the Ringwood 3rds because it wont affect us .Losing Scully was a necessary part of our march to inevitable Domination and constant victory .

Is it just me but everytime I look at your av biff, I think to myself " he's an loathsome offensive brute yet I cannot look away"

You are right - he could disguise his name a 100 times over but that would have made zero difference. There was only one YM - I miss him so.

I...errr...ummm....oh god

(not that there's anything wrong with that)

The man had a rugged handsomeness let's say .

Very rugged

Hi all. First post. Antique so know about premierships.

Just replying to the Sheahan interview.

First question Mike asked was about how messy last year was. Got a stock-standard waffle answer.

Second question was about the press conferance early last year, & how $cully stated all those points about no contact etc. Very direct questions. $ said he'd moved on & just looking forward (waffle/waffle) Mike pushed hard several more times & got stone-walled. Each time $ just lost more credibility. After the interview there was a general discussion about $ & the concensus was that he lied. Even that dip-stick velvet glove agreed.

Hope this helpes. Just remember I'm antique.

There's an interview on EMT where he all but admits to signing with GWS early on and it was the AFL rules that prevented him from doing so.

Moved on, just looking forward to the future.. what a cop out! Hate that the guy doesn't even have the courage to admit he was only after money. I was so wrong and feel like an idiot for thinking he was staying. But cest la vie. The MFC has certainly moved on and that's all that matters.

Wish he asked him what it felt like lying to Jim Stynes' face.

Little piece of sh*t that he is.

Is there an independent sports journo somewhere in the country that'll hit him with that one?

Can only hope

Hear me out but apparently

Scully told Jim the truth and Jim kept it a secret for the young guys sake.

Scully trusted him that much and Jim obliged.

Doesn't stop me from still hating the little $hit though.

The Truth about the lying will come out in time i am sure....

There's an interview on EMT where he all but admits to signing with GWS early on and it was the AFL rules that prevented him from doing so.

Started to watch the little twerp with the smiling assasin sitting next to him. I just could not do it. When he got on to his Mum, oh please. What a group - S$$$y, Sheedy and EEW.

What is your source? A poster elsewhere said that Jim was upset that Scully had lied to him. I don't know what the source for that was either, but both can't be true.

So I can only go on probabilities. If your version is true why did Jim say that the system was forcing young guys to lie? If he had agreed to keep it confidential he probably wouldn't have said anything on the subject. But if he had been lied to, and knew or even suspected it, then he'd be more likely to make that comment on the system I think.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
