I suppose Bradley Hill thinks he has some kind of excuse. He was the fastest kid on two feet at the Draft Combine and wanted to prove he was also the fastest on two wheels. Problem is that the latter can kill people and I hope that he is suitably punished and more importantly learns a lesson from this.

That is a disgrace that Bernie Vince's name was even printed if the above quote is true.....Some of these journalist's who know doubt rely on Twitter and other websites for their "Facts" should be sued & banned from ever writing again.

It is just straight lies, that innocent people are targeted with, whilst the dirt bag journalist walks the earth untouched.

That kind of thing is at best a one liner at the bottom of another article, not in an article of its own with a headline as sensationalised as the one it was under.

Given that the clubs are on "holidays" (i.e. not training) I'd suggest that Vince is entitled to be where ever he wants to be at whatever hour he wants to be there. This is just a classic case of newspaper journalists trying to find a story where there isn't one.

It worries me that clubs or the media say that players should not be out late. Every athlete needs to get away from their life/job for a period and behave like normal ppl. If they get drunk, so be it. It's what 20 somethings do. Go out and have a good time. It's Xmas and New Year FFS. He didnt do anything wrong!! Leave it be

I never know what to think on this one. In a lot of ways I agree, but then again when you are getting paid crazy amounts of money to play a game your responsibilities are different to other 20 year olds. I'd say it's all relative. I'd probably say footballers should be able (especially at this time of year) to drink a reasonably amount of alcohol without becoming drunk and should have no time limit on when they are out to as long aren't being foolish. If Vince was maybe seeing mates, maybe gambling for a bit at the Casino then all of a sudden 6am isn't too bad. If he was in a night club completely drunk and partying for 12 hours straight then that's a bit different.

If footy players need a let down period I'd say September/October would be the wisest. At the moment despite being on holidays they are in the middle of serious hard work preparing for the season. They are given time off to enjoy a short break and to catch up with friends and family, not to go backwards in their preparation for the next season.

Running from the cops is a little bit more than speeding, it's quite a serious error in judgement. Should be a good lesson for the young bloke. He'll realise now that if he just copped the speeding ticket he'd get a much better outcome.
