You bet i would go into Debt to get a coach like Mick Malthouse & his assistants to this club Rhino it's 2012 next year & Free Agency is right around the corner.

If we want players to stay at the MFC or to attract players to our club we gotta go out there NOW.

Well I subscribe to Malthouse's theory that as a coach, if you're out of the game for 1 year, you're too far out of the loop.

That's partly my reasoning on Matthews too (also that he is not that astute tactically).

Don't ask for a link, because I can't remember where he said it.

He has also said he wants to continue coaching. So the two statements don't align do they given he has committed to the Pies next year (and contractually for the next 2 years).

He just adds further weight to it.

His comments on continuing coaching, I believe, are genuine.

Breaking a contract is not lying - it's changing your mind.

I don't whether he has lied about other things anyway - who hasn't?

I believe that in spite of his contract situation he'd dearly like to continue coaching, at Collingwood if possible, and that he believes being out of the coaching game for a year would leave you too far behind to assume a head coaching role.

Matthew should charge double whatever Malthouse gets .
