Jeez, at least this kid has a crack.

25 touches, easily the best for Melbourne. Easy to cringe when he kicks and he might not be as talented as most of our other players but he gives a s**t about us. Can't say the same about a lot of the others.

He is a gem.

He is a reason for me to keep supporting this club.

I love him and he is one of, if not my favourite players, because he has what we dearly miss as a whole, heart.

We lost most of our heart when James McDonland left, and it's good to know that Jordie has brought some of that back. Shameful really that he has so few mates.

Thank god we didn't have more outside players with silky skills .

Jordie gets paid this week. Nobody else should.

Watts and Trengove tried. but I'd draw the line there. Jordie was massive today.

I love Jordie McKenzie.

Speaking of players who always give everything, what the F! happened to Brent Moloney?

He was on the bench a lot early on. I hope, for his sake, that he got injured in the first minute of the match, because FMD that was the most woeful performance from a vice captain.

His zero disposals are a notch behind Green's 1 handball and 1 teammate abuse in the first half.

I listened to SEN for about 20 minutes, and Jordie Mckenzie was the only name i heard mentioned.

Today was just surreal, it is even hard to get upset...What the F does the MFC stand for anymore?

He isn't as talented as a few of our other players, but he sure has a talent to "see ball, get ball". It seems to be a talent lacked by most players on our list!

Moloney was sick according to the post match press conference, battling the flu. Bit surprising he passed a fitness test considering how little he was able to run once the game started.

So whose decision was it that he should play? And how much advice to the contrary was overriden?

Posted

From the report I heard on radio he was pretty determined to play, which considering it's against his former club is not surprising, but ultimately it would have to be the Coach's decision based on advice from the Club Doctor

Eaxcatly. Jordie went in there for the ball today. I also thought Howe was ok with his limited chances and Nicholson tried to.

The club should refund anyone that went down there today. I mean Green and co still get there nice little pay packet but I forked out cash to attend that crap today. They did not deserve there pay except for the few mentioned.

I know.

Lucky you, I bloody don't!

Why do you think I wear his number on my back, a few more like him and the care factor might be a bit higher.

He had a few laughs when he signed the photo on the avatar.

Jordie wouldnt be out of place inside that building in another time, why, because he always gives his all.

He dosnt always win his battles but he is in the next contest just as hard.

That says it all

That image breaks my heart and it's the first thing I actually felt other than numbness and disgust since yesterday.

It makes me want to cry when I think how hard this kid works only for his teammates to get destroyed.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
