No go with Lucas.

He tried out with the Western Jets this year and was caught stealing the coach's car during a training session.

Was sentenced to six months at Port Phillip prison just last week.

This shouldn't be a problem.

With time off for good behaviour, he'll probably be able to fit in a short pre season and a couple of practice matches at Casey before Round 1.

Grab Lucas, I say!

He wont do the whole six months .. he had 3 weeks in remand and will get leniency and time for good. Be out by cup day Im reliably told .

Has just been aquitted. The offender turned out to be his estranged (and hitherto unknown) twin brother Ashley. Apparently separated at birth due to a family breakup and kept secret.

But wait for it, an outstanding junior footballer in remote WA who has flown under the recruiting radar. Polly Farmer says best under age kid he has seen since Barry Cable..

This is now a huge dilemma. Do we go for Dale, Lucas or Ashley

Whoever we go for we will Muff it up -to use a quaint phrase.

But at least we will genereate reams of wasted data discussing it in "spilt milk" threads.

Still a work in progress, but has a good sense of irony.

Good start Jack Jack but we won't see that under our Red Hose ( or is that Maroon these days )

Need to get the arm sleeve started if they are to be any good.

Ashley is so tattooed apparently that his natural skin cannot be seen for black ink

He is often mistaken as un-tattooed with a very dark suntan

Beginning to like Ashley more and more every minute DC

You sure he is not Dane Swann's brother?

hard to say if there is any connection there od.

Swanny's provenance is tied up in more controversy than JFK's final demise

Will a non midfielder win the Brownlow tonight?

Such an overrated medal, sadly.

Fairly safe bet they won't wyl.

But to be honest I don't care all that much.

don't think I have watched it for ten years.

All I need to know will be in the paper tomorrow morning.

we might yet have to scratch Ashley off our shopping list

unconfirmed reports out of the west are saying he is contemplating a gender changing operation

Adrian Anderson from the AFL is quoted as saying the AFL aren't quite ready to welcome trans-genders at this stage and are seeking independent (read internal) advice

Could this be another smokescreen ploy from Wet Coke?

Stay tuned

after Diesel Williams & Dipper tied for the Medal in '86 i have considered the Brownlow to be a waste of time, & nothing more than a televised [censored] up advertising Crown Lager.

Round 9 gws v ........ Zzzzzzzzzzz !!!!!!

So another big year wyl.

Who got the other 3?

clark will poll 3 as will Jones.

I cant see anyone else getting votes.

I mean who beat their opponent over 4 Quarters that an umpire would notice?

I reckon we are a bit pessimistic

My total is 10 - votes we did play GWS twice and GCS once plus beat the bombers.

Surely in those four games we could average 2.5 votes per game.

maybe i am being to harsh. But Clark & Jones are the only 2 who attacked the game & ball with the right attitude.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
