Rose this morning to discover only a ten goal loss so that was a pleasant surprise.

Next thought was to hell with the medical world I added half a banana to my muesli.

Tasted every bit as good as I remember.

Uni black won very easily yesterday even though I could not go.

On top of the ladder with finals looming.

The MFC ?

Who cares just more of the usual.

Cruise coming up in October and yesterday booked USA holiday with No.1 GD to Disneyland for May.

World is looking good.

See if you can find any players for us in Disneyland. Goofy might fit in at the MFC.

Even Goofy has standards Redleg.

Seriously did we expect much more this year?

Four wins and some close games is way better than 2013.

Agree and believe it or not if we had fit Hogan and Clark and a few skilled pacy outside mids we would have won a few more games.

This off season is vital for us to add pace and skill.

Great to hear, OD. See if you can find us a few premiership cups in Fantasyland, as we have been a Mickey Mouse team for a long time ... :blink::blink:

I think if you add the Casey and MFC consecutive losses together, we must be getting close to 20. Fantastic.

But not to worry it will grow back one day.

Sunday Observer.

Since the wife passed{i finally can say that}daughter and i havent watched television news or read a newspaper,A bit out of fear and a lot out of absolute chit they come up with.

Yesterday after some shopping,the daughter returns to car with sunday paper saying they give it to for free if you spend 30 bucks.

Picked it up 10 minutes ago to discover front page headlines.

Sonia Kruger pregnant{big deal}

Doc edelston splits{big deal}

Government tax funded bad back pensioner returns home from HOLIDY{what are those}in Macedonia and goes to his regular{cant afford that either}pub and throws 50 bucks{cant do that often myself}on the keno and wins 2 mill.

Colsed paper and started computer to see whos on demonland.{actually making sure OD is alive}

For the first time in a long while i didn't watch the game, really didn't care, strange feeling.

The season was over for me after round one.

The MFC could not beat a depleted Saints Team.

Lets hope 2015 is better and every MFC supporter/member can proudly say our team is the second worst (or better) in the AFL.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

    It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

    A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
