BTW. Fl ogs resurrection has quite unhinged me but has Demonland changed its format? On the home page , I am getting huge pics of the poster's avatar. Mine is rather charming but the others would scare off potential members.

Exactly what have you been looking at to infect your computer so badly Bitty? Moisture on the keyboard will f**k it up, you know.....

Just in case any of the non-locals or establishment types on 'land need a bit of Gat education...

FMD!! What have I done? The Fl og is back from the dead and Loonie Moonie posts his usual banality within minutes of each other. My mum used to say, "Must have killed a chinaman".

That's what she said when you were born. You must have a good memory.

In all seriousness Fl og Jazza was very concerned about you. It was quite heartfelt and moving. Apparently every time he looked up a cow's clacker it made him think of you.

Why are you so upset Professor?

We won on the weekend. Eight wins in three years is something to be happy about.

Interesting story today on News. com .au about the Brisbane Lions.

Appears the CEO Malcolm Holmes is to be sacked today.

from the story it appears the AFL is about to take over the Lions.

Not happy with the way it is being run.

To me it suggests imminent collapse is not far off without the AFL taking over.

It took us 50 years to get our club to the same point but Brisbane less than decade after winning all those flags.

Sad to hear, but hopefully this is their "PJ" moment, and they are able to extricate themselves from what sounds like a mess over the move to wherever-it-is well out of Brisbane. As ever, it seems that it is all too easy to destroy something that has taken decades to build up ... :-(

Note to Biffen - the pool chemicals were apparently insufficient to dematerialize Fl og! Go for the money back guarantee.

Note to self: buy cyanide on next trip to Perth.

I was speaking to my brother in Brisbane who is a Lions member on Monday.

He remarked "I now know how you have felt for the last seven years"

I replied "imagine how you will feel in five years time"

His Reply "if this continues there will not be a five years time we don't have a Jim Stynes".

No great loss.

Brisbanites can always go and take up poetry reading on a Saturday afternoon.

A place of such high culture doesn't need a football team.

Alastair Lynch could give everyone oral service for a start.

Should we offer them the services of our last CEO and ex Board Members?

I have not seen this cruel side of you before DF

and besides I am sure they are not that stupid.

They could do worse although I suppose it depends very much on the board members.I'm sure Beamer and Stef would feel right at home :)

If you want to hurt them, let them have our previous recruiting personell.

Now that is really really cruel WJ

The only team I dislike that much is Adelaide Crows.

Small soft spot for the Lions

Oh good lord, I've just found a youtube clip of BBO teaching in class. Can't be sure, but I believe Biff uploaded it. Don't think he knows he was being filmed. He's certainly an old school disciplinarian...

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
