I am struggling to find something to be intolerant about grandchildren.

They are our future R&B

Now I have just got to work out how to make mine dees fans.

Just had a radical thought

We could start winning lots of games!

May that ever be the case. As for making them Dees fans, it is tough when the 2013 highlights are the last quarter of the home game against GWS, Howie's hangers and the first MFC women's match .... :(

Don't confuse the tanking outcome with the Essendrugs deal, they are poles apart.

One is an orchestrated deal on a breach of an AFL rule that was never proved and the other is the biggest scandal to ever hit the sport that compromised the health of players and is admitted.

If you can't be negative then you could try inanity.

Seems to keep everyone docile.

Redleg was complaining about talking utter Tird.

And he is a lawyer-a professional at it!

True and notwithstanding that some are elsewhere claiming we committed a "crime" the reality is that it was reported that two senior counsel gave opinions that the AFL's case against us would fail if it went to the Supreme Court. The problem was that it would have cost us a fortune in legal fees.

And in the end we were shafted by the AFL who punished us twice. The first time with the fine in the negotiated settlement and the second when it bowed to the pressure of the other clubs and refused to give us draft relief by way of a priority pick for the last national draft. We were entitled to the assistance on the merits but other factors deprived us of a proper consideration of our case. That's the AFL for you.

Is it just me or is this whole Essendon thing sapping your enthusiasm for AFL level football in general?

With every passing day a little bit more gets chipped off me.

Once not so long ago I was an enthusiastic follower of most teams and games over the season.

Now I take notice of most things MFC and then little of everything else.

Actually OLD...quite the reverse.. we are getting on with or club and such. Messendon are in a holding pattern ( they just dont know or accept it yet ) and will land heavy.

Call me whatever but im enjoying their misery

I would never have guessed bb!

I don't like seeing the AFL tarnished with this crap.

I have a couple of close Bomber fans and they are devastated at present

I feel their pain.

as you know I have family members who are Messy ones . This is not about them, this is about a club that seems to think it can operate beyond the fence and with utter contempt for all else ( arguably not alone..carlscum fit that description also )

Over the years I have tried to use the "Sponsors" of the MFC.

With limit success I have to report unfortunately.

My major success was iPrimus.

The not so goods were mostly either too costly compared to their competitors or simply appeared poor from my contacts.

e.g. I bought Kaspersky virus protection and it did not want to download properly onto my computer.

I contacted them and was told " oh we get a bit of that do you want your money back" .

Fairly quick resolution but I have often wondered why they did not try and fix the problem.

A couple of weeks ago I started looking for a new Car so I checked out the AHG dealerships.

I have been to the brand dealer I am interested in and so far the experience has been ordinary.

Not exactly rushed off my feet and their price is approx. $3000 more than a couple of other quotes I have had for the exact same car.

Doubt I will be buying from AHG at this rate.

I have a theory that because the MFC are not a "sort after Club" we end up with sponsors that are a fair way below the large successful companies.

Do we get the also-rans and subsequently get the same level of service?

Or am I just unlucky?

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
