BB I am over the new name looks like the signature of a wimp.

I want the ballsy name back.

I don't see the problem, Old Deesy ... And is Ballsy a player we should trade for? :)

That might actually achieve what the recent management almost achieved.

Lol!

R & BB don't you think its time to have a shave as it is no longer the 70's and the season of Pain is over for us?

I could assist you in the search for a clean shaven Avatar.

HAHA

PS as a reward I can send you 2 taste Bananas!

hard to defend a new coach until he actually coaches in a game

but if theres one group of fans that can do it ?

can you imagine the traffic on this site if we don't come up to scratch,i dread the thought

A lot of players from other clubs seem to be on the move. Either delisted or seeking trades.

There could be a good opportunity to pick up a handy player or two for little cost.

Roos has been adept at this in the past.

Are some other clubs bringing the game into disrepute?

We have an independent body set up to assess the merits of clubs getting PP's.

Several clubs have written letters and gone public, on trying to influence this body in it's deliberations.

This IMO, is bringing the game into disrepute and I think it's time for some long and thorough investigations of this cartel of clubs.

Now you are sounding like my kids, TBF ... The beard is fixed to the chin, and there it is staying! (not even for two bananas)

We only seem to have been mentioned so far in regard to a couple of players.

That is good as it means we are hopefully targeting a couple strongly rather than a scatter gun approach.

Roos is clearly going to be the lynchpin to securing the players we want.

And going by the scuttlebutt in the footy news ATM it seems that there are several Brisbane Lions players who want to jump ship so there's a fair chance we might pick up a banana bender or two.

If they were a handy mid, go for it.

I can never understand my 5 children but may be that because they walk on four legs and only seem to want food LOL

I had a Avatar with a red and blue beard yesterday but I am still look for the perfect one.

I did have a laugh when I was doing a Google image search on red and blue beards and your Avatar was there.

TBF I think you suffer from Multple Avatar Disorder :)

If I understand the reason for them wanting to leave is they are not Banana Benders and they just want to go home.

So the MFC may be a good option now as now we have an A Grade coach.

TBF I think you suffer from Multple Avatar Disorder :)

I think you may be right.

I have a few Avatars which may be fun to use. But I know I will always return to a Blue and Red Frog.

My four all walk in two legs, but also seem to be obsessed with food ...

I have never thought to Google my beard, but thanks for the idea! :-) As for red and blue beards, I had to make my own :-)

Yes, make sure your avatar always beats true for the red and the blue :-)

But we all do what we must.

Would be a hell of a bonus!

Port were great tonight and if they didn't miss about 4 absolute sitters, would have won.

Have to disagree.

Geelong had 31 scoring shots to 20 and 65 inside 50's to 39. The Cats missed a few easy ones too while Port's last two goals came out of their backsides. Had Geelong kicked straighter, it could easily have been a blowout.

Kudos to Port for their great season but I suspect that clubs will now start working them out. Their entry into the forward 50 is often very wide and hence, their inaccuracy.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
