Yes as far as JT goes but Clark is a long way from playing just walking around. Hope the info is wrong as I said earlier.

We've been told that the club's approach to Clark's rehab is conservative and Mitch himself keeps tweeting that he's on track with his progress. While he was walking laps on Monday, he was also kicking the football as well (albeit with his left foot only) and there's been no evidence of any setback to his recovery routine.

I don't think he's been put on the LTI like Max Gawn so can only assume there must be some chance that by mid March, he might be taking part in some light match practice.

Will give Chris Dawes a chance to prove he is worth the cash until Mitch returns to stomps on Skulls .

Gee, at the top of the Board is an ad that states 5 foods never to be eaten, if you want to stay trim, number 1, the banana. Mercy no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's rubbish. I eat a banana a day (not too ripe) and it hasn't caused me any problems. You need a balanced diet and exercise and all will be well in the world.

On the other hand, if you want to get a job at GWS in recruiting ...

... eat like it's Christmas day, every day?

Some one told me single malt is not good for you Redleg.

Now I know that is absolute rubbish.

So who knows who the nutter is who put out this malicious piece of misinformation

Eat on to your hearts content.

Any Footy news lately?

Heard a rumour that Sandy Roberts is heading to Fox Footy to call the footy. That's about all I can help you with Redleg.

Other than that its just drugs or "supplements" and ongoing investigations.

It's a good thing Clothier finished the North and Crows investigations last year..... .

What the AFL need to do right now is storm the Windy Hill HQ and take all there computers and files - not one month later..

Don't forget the threatening and intimidating gathering of information. Hope they also talk to ex-sponsors and supporters in pubs.

BTW Sandy has denied he is leaving 7 and says he has not received any offer from Fox Footy.

Oh....well I'd don't have anything to offer other than I think the Bombers sports scientists should have supplied their players banana supplements. Orally.

Maybe suppositories would be better.

Hey Redleg -- have you ever had an orange roughie followed by a banana smoothie?

Did they serve good tucker at the AGM?

No food at all. Spoke to a Director and CC and CS after the meeting and then left.

Did they seemed overall worried about the inquisition redleg?

They are certainly concerned as it is a serious matter.

To be honest I think I am sick to death of AGM's. I learn nothing.

To be honest I think I am sick to death of AGM's. I learn nothing.

My experience is that unless there are more than one person standing for a position then nothing much happens.

I say that from not just attending MFC events.

When you have two people trying to get the same spot things hot up and information and dirty linen is aired.

Other wise they are fairly controlled events.

Lets face it MFC members are probably the most conservative going around.

I also think that after 48 years of mainly poor results we have a beaten dog mentality.

A pat on the head and a request for unity be it understated or not

and we trot off into the night hopeful but probably resigned to our fate.

Well that is how I often feel.

Strangely perhaps I enjoyed last night.

Can the AFL handle 2 Pandora's Boxes, let alone one? We're going to find out...

Can the AFL handle 2 Pandora's Boxes, let alone one? We're going to find out...

One's a can of worms...about to have its lid resealed...for ever !!

The other's definitely Pandoras Box.

The latter makes the former look like silly little tiff !!

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

  • POSTGAME: Richmond

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
