Apparently waylaid in Coober Pedy Mr Leg

Hope he isn't thinking of letting any geologists drive the Bentley.

They're often hammered and stoned.

Latest ,via the bush telegraph is a certain well known recluse and shiraz gurgler's transport had become mired .

It's rumoured he, staff in waiting ( esp the '[censored]') have transferred to Camels and set off for the Centre.. Adorned with his classicly styled sun hat he was reported to be pretty pithed.

A risky state of affairs Bubs!

Could someone pls get word to Uncle that no matter how strong the temptation might be, that under no circumstances is he to use the GPS beacon as a Shiraz stopper (or for any other purpose deemed fit)!

Beware of camels Uncle, they spit at you.

Will take you back to the days of Windy Hill and Victoria Park.

Would have preferred the camel spit rather than watching the Dees today.

Just as an aside, watching Melbourne is torture.

No highlights. Fumbles. Poor disposal. Shocking goal kicking. Players slipping over.

Winning ugly has become the norm and it is very difficult to get any enjoyment from our games.

That said, I would cop an ugly won flag.

Not thinking you'll need to worry over conflicting positions this year.

We're not winning the flag ugly or otherwise at this rate.

And the camels always hit what they aim at.

Another quiet day on DL.

Just a FP injured, nothing much else happening.

At the risk of a ban for racism

I must say, what a bunch of whinging [censored] ants the pommy bastards are !

Every club or park cricketer knows you wait for the call of “over” before you wander down the pitch

FMD !!!

I’m now putting them on the same level as the the filth

Its a bit like a 2 yo stuffing around then falling over. They're not really hurt or injured...it's all about the embarassment.

Same here...

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
