As compared to the distinction that comes with having in one's possession "objects"" marked ""Property of the Manor"

AKA “ highly infectious “.

They don't work on Clinical Anxiety, nothing does except Cam McCarthy kicking 5.

Nothing works....on something that doesn't exist ;)

Beeb, whatever he didn't have it seems to have gone away. He didn't get suspended, he didn't have clinical anxiety, but Cam kicks 5 and he's ready. Curious. The more I know the more I know I don't know. Sorry Aristotle.

Things are going well.

The Vics have just won the Sheffield Shield for a 32nd time.

Winx is still going strong.

Bananas are still our favourite fruit.

The Dees are on top ( whoops bottom ) of the ladder

Has anyone purchased their grandfinal tickets yet?

I feel 2019 will be our year.

When does the season start?

Can not wait for the preseason matches to be over!

Don't hold your breath DF. We are back to the Neeld days the only thing up for decision on Friday is the size of the loss. 6, 8 or 10?

Despite being a well known pessimist I am confident we will win this one.

So that means you will be going to the game?

A half head win for optimism, a close second for pessimism.

I don't think pessimism has anything to do with.

we have lost the last five games easily.

we have players who are sadly out of form, we are playing players a large number of whom are vfl talents.

And we have not changed our game plan since the introduction of 666.

So by and largely we are not with it in 2019.

A loss is the only logical result.

Losing is what we do best!

When does the 2020 season start?

May be the AFL season can start next week?

I have a bad feel about this week.

I have just seen a team that has been destroyed by its coaches in one off season.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
