Anyone else curious as to what's happened to Cam Schwab?

He was a dedicated user of social media to keep in touch with the members and supporters and has disappeared since the Caro Wilson article said he was under the pump.

Are we to guess that he's been gagged by the Board?

Or does he have nothing to say about not re signing Scully, possibly losing Morton for nothing to gold coast in the pre season draft or nothing to say about his faith in baileys coaching?

Would expect greater leadership in the difficult times from the CEO and not to hide under his desk.

Cam, I know you visit this site, show leadership, provide the vision for MFC and don't disappear during the tough times.

I was wondering this myself. I can confirm he's still alive as I saw him at the cafe at AAMI having lunch with Tim Harrington last week. He's definitely fallen off the twitter wagon..

Not gagged by the board, but it was reported that there has been a decisive shift to promoting Bailey and the team on-field, rather than the club off-field.

I thought this was common knowledge.

CS would be shying away from excessive use of twitter to avoid the perception that he was trying to undermine Bailey's wish to have the team be the focus.

Fair enough, when you know what Caroline Wilson is like...

You're very accommodating of all the Melbourne people aren't you. Are you pushing an agenda for someone?

Yes the last whiteboard Wednesday spent a lot if time talking about Michael Malthouse.

Since then not a word...Probably means nothing, but i have wondered about that point since the vid came out.

I think Cameron has been great for our "new" club btw.

It's an odd sort of 3rd post, for a beginner, starting off with a bit of an obscure thread, from left field? Can Play?

Glad he's not twittering. He's a smart bloke doing a good job, and maybe it's just me, but I find it hard to take anyone seriously who wastes their time on twitter.

Even if he is using it as a way of corresponding with the very large number of Demon fans on there?

Some would say this.. but some could also provide the notes that he and CC also failed at Fremantle.

I s'pose you also think that Smoron & Eade @ the Doggies, & Greg Westaway / Ross Lyon, have failed @ the Saints as well?

CC may have not done the best job as coach but CS certainly did a great job for Freo his record speaks for itself. No matter how the on field form was like CS took a financial basket case of a club and made it profitable in a short period of time.

Been on Demonology for years, and read on here everyday. However only post when I truly am concerned about something. And I truly believe Schwab has been good for MFC but he's gone missing of late when the heat is on.

One of his last tweets was he was certain we'd reach 40000 members. Well we going to be about 4000 short of that so our revenue budget will be short by about $450,000. Wonder if he is still projecting a profit? Also, I believe he should be updating members again re Scully.

Their target and what they actually budgeted for could be to different things.

Well on cue Cam Schwab was on SEN this morning, unfortunately for him fielding basically all questions Scully related (nothing new, apparently the Ox is 98% sure he's gone) so you could sense the frustration in his voice as he kept to basically the same lines we always have, "our policy is not to play contracts out in the media", "Tom's a fine young man who will make his decision in due coarse" blah, blah, blah....

According to Don McLardy in preseason we budgeted for 35,000 members, which we have exceeded.

No issues there.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
