Davey didn't elude tagger because it was to hard. He is soft down hill skier. His effort in the second quarter where he shirked it was disgusting. 3 times he handballed in front of himself resulting in turnovers. He is a soft disgrace get him out!

Watts, Gysberts and my boy JMac are the only things keeping me from complete meltdown.

Harsh on Jetta, was the only one out of the indigenous boys who had a crack today.

Yep mate, shining lights, all are rippers, Gysberts + 10kg = Champion.

Harsh on Jetta i think, really has a go, more than we can say for some of his indeginous brothers

You pick on a couple of times when Jones got caught trying to create. How about these 3 words for Jones, words that you couldn't give to too many others;

Shows Great Leadership

Has a go

Hold head up

Good 100th game

But yet, you choose to criticise him

combine this with Bate's uncanny ability to hit an opposition target with every possession he gets, and we have 2 senior players who shouldn't be part of our current development.

Warnock went from superb one minute, to terrible the next.

Defines this club.

Green - still not leading

Warnock - old school defender*

Jones - hardworker, has heart

Bartram - old school defender*

Watts - skilled, learning well

Gysberts - vision, needs support

Bate - plays too short

Frawley - faded, lacking fitness

Sylvia - liked his aggression

McKenzie - solidish start back

Petterd - didn't work hard

Maric - disposal needs work

Moloney - needs jamar back

Jurrah - disappeared when needed

Rivers - solid when needed

MacDonald - old school defender*

Martin - battled hard today

Tapscott - fingers crossed here

Davey - VERY disappointing, soft

Jetta - meh whatever huh

Newton - please get kidnapped

Evans - better when instinctual

Bailey - definitely in trouble

*= while these guys might have been ok as stoppers today, they are struggling a bit with the modern game where they are the starting point of attack

WTF?! Jetta was solid all game... LOL jks I got drunk at Etihad

Davey weak as [censored]!

I hope we AREN"T paying this guy $500000 per year

Drop him and we will improve He is starting to Look like Jeff (show me the money )White

This game was winnable Davey cost us 3 goals on his own 2 goals last week

If Melbourne continue to kick across goal to lose the ball they deserve to lose every game

Dean Bailey is the worst game coach i have see in 35 years of watching footbalI

If i was Moloney or Evens i would have a quiet word in the rooms to Davey

" Hey Cuz "HAVE A BLOODY GO YOU WEAK [censored]"

IF HE ISNT DROPPED NEXT WEEK AND FINED FOR NON PERFORMANCE THEN BAILEY SHOULD BE SACKED!!!

Evans first game what a great debut Somebody should tell him that at Melbourne you dont have to try so hard

This Cub is soft its been soft for a long time they burnn good palyers with the culture

THEY ARE NOT SERIOUS

DEAN BAILEY HANG YOU HEAD IN SHAME

Apparently the players lined up Morton at training and all ran through him. Davey's turn this week. When he failed to take a step back costing us a goal in the second quarter I almost cried.

WTF?! Jetta was solid all game... LOL jks I got drunk at Etihad

Jetta: 23 disposals, 8 marks, 6 tackles. Yeah, that's a shocking game.

Also, for the Jones baggers, he had 31 disposals and 8 marks. He was caught with the ball a couple of times, but apart from that was bloody good all day.

Not saying Jetta was terrible, but he wasn't good, unfortunately stats don't win games, there was 817 disposal in today's game so really how much do you think that stat is worth?

He just didn't add much, like a lot of players today.

And I'm not saying he was a game-breaker like Chris Judd, but he was serviceable and certainly far from our worst. Why the attack on him in particular? Who would you have had in the side in his place?

For real? Where did you hear this?

I like the sound of this if it's true. One of the hardest things to really learn to the point where you don't even flinch is that it doesn't really hurt that much. Your instincts scream out at you to protect yourself, and to retrain that part of your brain to accept that you are going to cop a hit and that you will still be able to function perfectly well takes work. This sounds like a very good step in that direction.

Joeboy, think you (and some others) need to watch the replay re: Rivers. Was good today amongst a sea of [censored].

WTF?! Jetta was solid all game... LOL jks I got drunk at Etihad

Think you were drunker than you realised.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
