Our softies: Bennell, Watts, Dunn, Davey, Jurrah, Morton - that's a quarter of the side (won't mention seconds players). It's too many and (imo) more than most other clubs and certainly the quality ones. And I wouldn't list that group as being "hard" in their running.

I find it hard to disagree. And what concerns me is our forward press (and our ability to keep it in our forward 50), this somewhat directly or indirectly correlates on occassions how easy the opposition get it out of our forward line from kickouts etc. I refer to missed tackles, etc and I would include Wonaeamirri as well.

It does frustrate me. Sunday's game was no exception.

Again, the question that comes to the forefront of my mind is whether the style of play we are trying to implement is going to work for us.

Last night, again, we could not bring the ball out of defence. At this stage of our development we shouldn't be having this problem popping up week after week.

Will be very interesting to hear Roos point of view on the Dees next week. I only hope that he doesn't hold back thinking that it is 'old news'
