Yes North have had the wood on us.

So too have Hawthorn and it would be great to embarrass them the way they have embarrassed us early in the season of recent times.

A win at AAMI park as this is the particular venue that we struggle with the most....The crows would do nicely.

Collingwood on Queens Birthday, Carlton and St Kilda too.

Geelong always beat us up so that'd be nice to reverse.

Continued dominations over Richmond & Essendon. Get back at West Coast for the Dome game in 2010. And the Dockers at Subi too with a Jack Watts goal after the siren.

We owe the dogs one for their escape last year- perhaps with 50 possessions to Scully.

We've tamed the Lions, and would love to rip the heart out of Port in Darwin again.

Teach Gold Coast that they are nothing more than a glorified VFL team and finally another demolition of the Swans should just about do it....

That would be a pretty good season i think...

.... so... 22 wins for the season?

If GSOAG means the Eagles game at the G this year, and I very much assume he does, then I completely agree.

That was the worst we played this year, and I would love to see us ruthlessly slaughter them on a ground we don't particularly like.

As an aside, I think it's funny that you can't spell slaughter without laughter. Also illustrates the joys of teaching - those words make competely different sounds!

Yeah....then unbeaten through the finals towards our 13th flag...

It's about as realistic as hutchy's tweet!

Whoops, i got on such a roll i got my venues mixed up- yes indeed i meant the game at the G.

It reminded me of 2008/09. It also made me want to check out any betting record fluctuations  I wasn't expecting that performace on that particular day. For me it was the worst game for 2010 that left me scratching my head in frustration leaving the G. IIRC the build up here was Nik Nat v Watts.

Interesting observation on slaughter/laughter. I'd dearly love to experience both over the Eagles...for the next decade.

We made Priddis look like Ablett in that game.

It could easily have been a calculated error, in that he only hits his targets by foot 22 out 100 times.

We gave him more room to get the footy & make errors (as some speculate the opposition did with us & Bruce) but unfortunately Priddis used up his full quota of precise kicks against us...

Shame neither of them did anything!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
