Where in hell is Yze_Magic?

Featured Replies

Whatever you do, don't say Yze_Magic's name three times... to me he was the Beetlejuice of Demonland and Demonology; not so bad (amusing even) in retrospect, but when he is around you find yourself trying to think of ways to get rid of him.

Haha I was thinking the exact same thing - don't say his name too many times because he'll reappear!

In all seriousness, was he that funny or is it just absence making the heart grow fonder..?

I don't recall him being particularly funny.

His great achievement was epic trolling & I guess that was quite funny because he managed to suck so many in.

Beyond that, was he some comic genius though, & I missed it..?

He was a Big Footy troll/legend (i'd say the latter), he rivals Supermercado and rick James (even though he is a mongtard) as the best Melbourne BF posters. Even during the times where we won 3 or 4 games a year, he could still dominate any poster who dared to make fun of Melbourne.

Neutral_Observer was probably my favourite incarnation of the great man.

But boy has that place failed lately, BF is full of 15 year olds (no pedobear) nowadays and Fred/Mantis are still kickin around in their twilight years.

Some think of Yze_Magic and think of sharp wit and amusing pisstakes.

I think of incessant Bruce bashing to the point of slander.

Banning him was a no-brainer, and if he ever returns then it's by accident on our part.

Here, effing, here!

The guy had nothing to offer.

I'm sorry to all those who think he was funny - I'm sure you'll enjoy Jackass 3D as a way of consoling yourself.

Agree Nasher.

YM had a long long history of site indiscretions (some of them nasty) and in hindsight he was offered too many opportunities at redemption by D'land.

He was a serial offender on other sites like Demonology. Good riddance.

I bet he is somewhere reading this thread with glee...

possibly in a cell

He has a single cell for a brain.

Like others have said, offered very little and loved to slander, and didn't mind changing history to suit himself either about comments on certain players.

ie. Naitanui & Col Garland.

Found the amateur out both times.

Hell he used to yell on 'ology about how great Bruce was. Even bumped a few.

The guy was a fool, flipping from Naitanui to Watts like twelve year-old watching Sunday afternoon TV. Got a few things right but had probably the lowest strike rate of anyone on Demonland, simply because he had about a million opinions on everything. The fact that this thread is almost three pages long is a fitting tribute to the idiocy he inspired.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
