I was told today that the official start for pre season will be in two weeks time.This will no doubt give the FD time to sort out Cam Bruce's contract and complete the list - most probably in the next few days.

Will training only be at Cassey for the summer?

This is around a month later than what they did last year, when they started mid-October (Monday 13th). Wonder why ...

Fair enough, but why not start next Monday (for example) if they wanted to keep the same or similar schedule?

also as we are sitting in a bit of a better position than last season, i seem to recall october 13th being a really early pre season start. so it is just the coaching staff thinking that we are in a better position than the last few seasons, isnt it?

I seem to recall from last year that part of the condition of the very early start to pre-season was additional time off over christmas, so perhaps the players will have less time off over christmas this year?

Who knows, but any of the players involved in the China trip or IR series will have been in training anyway.

Who knows, but any of the players involved in the China trip or IR series will have been in training anyway.

You are so correct on both accounts- the one's able to train did so- naturally the ones injured or recovery is in place didn't.I here that they may go back next year to do some training over there- interesting-Ha

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
