The Lions are banged up on defence but their offense puts enormous pressure on whoever they are playing ... both physically and mentally

 

Edit: And right on cue the Vikes stop the Lions and gain excellent field position after the Lions were forced to punt it away

Congratulations to @Go the Biff for winning the tipping comp!  Well done, GtB!

It was a close encounter all season long but you kept gaining points week in, week out.  And that's what won it for you

And it went down to the last match of the season where @titan_uranus would have got up with a Vikings win

But just a heads up on the post season comp (while I'm here)... we should be able to get enough starters as I'm assuming we're all going to be watching the playoffs

Week 1 ... 1 point per win (Home or Away) plus a bonus point for the correct margin (1-6,  7-12 & 13+)

Week 2 ... 2 points per win plus 2 bonus points for each correct margin

Week 3 ... 3 points per win plus 3 bonus points for each correct margin

Week 4 (Super Bowl) ... 5 points plus 5 bonus points for the correct margin

Cheers Macca.  Thanks for running this. As JV7 said,  it makes the season so much more interesting.  Particularly when your own team is stinking it up.

Bring on the finals. Reckon it's gonna be wild this post season 

Forgot to mention,  really enjoyed the revised points system with more points on offer. Made things a bit more dynamic

Yep thanks Macca, a bit of fun that makes the season that much more enjoyable. Can't believe the season is done already, feels like it flies by.

Hoping the Lions can win the SB but would be fine with anyone except Buffalo, KC and Pittsburgh.

I read that Hurts is still in concussion protocol. He has missed the last two games.

Could be critical and also a few weeks off even if he plays how does that affect him? He wasn’t in perfect sync prior to this so, be an interesting watch.

I saw a tweet which said he can't exit the protocol until attending practice on Wednesday, I'd expect him to be playing this week.

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session. DEMONLAND'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS REHAB: TMac, Chandler, McVee, Tholstrup, Brown, Spargo Brown might have passed his fitness test as he’s back out with the main group.  Sparrow not present.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
