The Eagles can't get stuffed... Costing a much needed point there 😡

Is it just me or does anyone else hate tipping this year?

Haha nice try tipping comp. Going the obvious choices has only ended in tears so something different is required this week..

Bills, Lions, Jaguars

Yes it's been a bit tiresome but one consolation is that anyone can still win outright

Usually with 2 weeks to go at least half the field is out of the running

Bills  Bengals  Seattle

Puka Nakua! What a steal in the 5th round.

Stroud will win OROY award but Nakua should be making the conversation more interesting, but I can’t see them not going with the QB.

Williams also a 5th rounder from last year is second in rushing only to McCaffrey and Williams missed 4 games.

Eagles are very off the boil at the moment, so I wasn't tempted to tip the Giants against them this week. Too much of a long shot though so i thought better of it.

Packers, Colts, Cowboys

Chargers played well yesterday, unlucky in the end. I actually thought the last TD for the bills would have stood as to me it wasn’t clear that his knee was still on the ground when the hand touched which would have given the chargers 80+ seconds.

Was a good game to watch.

9 points down start of the 4th. Dak needs to show us what he’s made of now

That early turnover really cost Dallas (RB fumble) ... WR's dropped a few easy catches too

Prescott can't do it all on his own

The way I see it is that Prescott is playing a huge part and is carrying the team

The testing material was New England with Belichick, Brady and their whole team from that era and the their whole all round game

Zac is so talented that we expect miracles

I agree. Dak has stopped throwing picks which has made a huge difference. He’s playing well. Both 4th quarter drives led to scores. He’s become dependable. I had my doubts he ever would.

the cowboys oline could not protect against the dolphins pass rush (which was very good) and that was the difference in a tight game.

Good game between Boys and Dolphs. Tbh, both won’t make the Super Bowl, both are not quite good enough.
Boys could be much better but the penalties they give away are epic!

The roughing the passer penalty against parsons was very harsh. Extended the drive which Miami translated into a touchdown. Had a big impact on the result.

True, but so did a lot of the other penalties that the cowboys do week in week out and against the good teams they get punished.
It’s hard enough to win playoffs, it’s harder on the road when you have a poor record, harder still when you aren’t beating teams with winning records and then on top of all of that are one of the most penalised team in the NFL.
Cut out 25-50% of the penalties, especially the false starts/ pre snap penalties and then they are prob a much better team.
I mean they may go on a run and everything clicks then they are up to their eye balls in it, but go to SF for the championship game and give up 100+ yards in penalties and try and win.

Vegas beat Chiefs! Freaking crazy!
They bullied them, the ran over them, Adams had 1 catch for 4 yards and they still won!
insane!!!

Purdy sliced the ravens D on the opening drive then threw a pick.
This hopefully lives up to the hype!

  • NON-MFC: Round 12

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
