I'll kick things off with ...

Sun 8.35am Rams 21 @ Packers 25

Sun 12.15pm Ravens 21 @ Bills 30

Mon 7.05am Browns 24 @ KC 34

Mon 10.40am Tampa 22 @ Saints 30

So want to pick the Browns. I do believe they have a genuine chance of winning.

Rams 13 Packers 30

Ravens 27 Bills 24

Browns 25 Chiefs 31

Bucs 24 Saints 20

Been out of the NFL thread, just far too depressing a year for my boys. Predicting a couple of upsets

I think all teams have a chance this week. Ravens I worry about in the snow and I love the Bills and want them to win.

KC aren’t playing well and by saying that I mean they are making mistakes they just didn’t do last year. They seem gettable this year, Browns could do anything or nothing...

Buccs could easily topple the saints who aren’t looking great, they are solid, but not great and Brady is Brady and their WR core is first rate.

Rams could beat Packers, but a few things have to work in their fav.

Firstly that would be I’d mainly rush AD99 off the left side, so he is on the right side of Rodgers which he prefers to scramble to and he then occupies two very good oline men, leaving the centre and weakened left side for others to exploit.
Adams vs Ramsey is going to be epic. Keys will be getting to Rodgers and making him turn the ball over. Now the real kicker is we have to move the ball and take time off the clock for our D to rest and keep Rodgers off the field. I see our game going two ways, a 14+ Rams loss where we are never really in it offensively and our D keeps us there abouts. Or..

Our D smashes it and we get a narrow win.

Kupp out today is a massive loss.

Goff is 0td and 5int in games around the 0degrees mark.... which today is.

Both QBS earns 33.5m this year. One deserves it, one needs to prove he deserves it.

They are sitting AD a lot. Ribs can’t be good.
halfway through the second and our D is getting sliced all over.
This game is over.

That TD reply looked a bit easy Gorg ... Green Bay's defence sliced through just as easily

It's far from over ... an unforced turnover could swing things either way

That's an excellent TD by Akers of the Rams ... well thought out play as well.  The 2 points after just as clever

7 point game ... now 25-18.  GB need another one of those minute sapping drives

Edit:  Rams had their chances but Packers too good on the day

Missed the second half, so hard to comment. But seeing the D play the way they did early was similar to games we lost where if the D didn’t create opportunities for the offence then we lost.

Gratz on the win, see you at your crappy ground next year... hopefully with a new QB.

Packers were on their game apart from letting in a couple of easy TD's.  But there again, our defence isn't top notch anyway so if we're going to beat the good sides a lot rests on Rodgers,  our WR's and the new found (and reliable) running game

It's the best I've seen the team play for quite some time.  The Rams weren't too bad,  they just ran into a better team on the day.  Donald not being able to get onto the field was a big blow.  You can't replace A grade elite

You'll be thereabouts next year ... with Goff?  Again, he wasn't the reason you lost today but if the offence improves around him,  you'll be back in the playoffs with him or perhaps with another QB

Goff is the interesting one. Kupp and Woods are good WR, Hope Van Jefferson develops to be the quick deep threat that the other two aren’t. Akers is key. Goff needs a great Run game.
TBH if I was Goff Id give back a few million and tell them To get the best oline we can.
But honestly I think we are stuck with Goff for one more year at least. But he ain’t the answer. Especially as McVay seemed much happier calling plays with Wolford under centre.

The D is the worry, we will lose John Johnson to FA, and possible a few more, really hope we keep Ffloyd.
But can’t see our D being as good due to lose of personal and they DC will be poached.

Im not a massive Watson fan but if they can pull off a goff/Watson trade I’ll drop $50 on Rams to win the SB

Oh, and if your Goff this plays through your head the next few months...

Sean McVay on Jared Goff: "...Saw a guy that stepped in. He did what he could, I thought he made some plays, thought he saw the field..." Asked if Goff was his quarterback, McVay said: "Yeah, he’s the quarterback right now."

Another year another choke by the saints at home in a playoff.

Packers will comfortably pass the buccs in the snow next week.

Mahomes got up like Mike Tyson had hit him and if the NFL are serious about concussion protocols he won’t play. Hell, even if he passes and I was the chiefs of sit him.

Play or dont, Bills will win this and on to face the cheese heads in the big Dance

So we're the cheeseheads playing at a crappy ground now are we Gorg

You lot are such bad losers haha

Enjoy watching from the sidelines next week knowing that your own team isn't up to it

ha ha ha ha ha!!

Yup, told the packers mate at work to get stuffed too ?

Tbh I love Rodgers and like the Packers but your ground is old and outside. All teams that have snow during the year need nice indoor stadiums that are regulated at 60 so us Cali boys can come compete in comfort. It’s 2021 ffs ?

Old School Gorg

Old School!!

Lambeau is a monument and I hope they never move or change it too much

But Brady has got those Bucs firing and they will be hard to beat.  His cold weather experience with the Pats will be invaluable too

You can just see him telling his players to smarten up, get on with it and do the business

Any sort of win will suffice

Rodgers vs Brady ... classic match-up

Edited by Macca

There were some telling moments in the Saints/Bucs game including of course Tampa having 4 takeaways with their defence

But at 3 & 11 late in the game deep in the backfield that spectacular Tyler Johnson catch was also a game changer (or a game saver) Kept the drive alive which led to a field goal and a 23-20 lead instead of punting the ball away

And Tom Brady is heading to his 14th Conference Championship game.  That number is just phenomenal.  Managed the game exceptionally well today (again)

To me it's a no contest

Brady is the Greatest Of All Time

Here's that catch

  • GAMEDAY: Fremantle

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
