New addition for the post-season tipping comp (assuming we get enough starters)

Working on the premise that we continue to post scorelines (as we've traditionally done) we could make the most of those scorelines

ย

Week 1 ... 1 point per win plus a bonus point if your margin of victory falls within the actual margin.ย  i.e. 1-6,ย  7-12,ย  or over 12

Week 2 ... 1 point per win plus a bonus point using the same margin criteria as week 1

Week 3 ... 3 points per win plus 3 bonus points for the correct margin criteria

Super Bowl ... 5 points for the win plus 5 bonus points for the correct margin (1-6,ย  7-12 etc)

We can just continue to post up the scorelines as we've done previously and I can work out the rest of it (with the possible aid of a proof-reader!)

All feedback is most welcome but a tipping system where interest is maintained throughout is the ideal outcome

ย

n.b ... the margin of victory would need to fall into the 1-6,ย  7-12 or over 12 margin to qualify for the bonus point (or points)

Rams got the job done yesterday. Akers and the o line were great, massive props to Everett playing a full back role at times and the WR blocking that was first rate.

ย

New page so here are this weeks games again ...

Chiefs,ย  Titans,ย  Saints

I must say Iโ€™m interested in chiefs dolphins game. Should get a better understanding of where Miami are.

ย

Saints match was the trap game ... still,ย  GtB got the points (point) and if the Steelers win,ย  DZ as well

Washington now lead the NFC East with a 6 & 7 record.ย  No guarantee that they will win another game though!

Was an amazing game. My emotions were going nuts for the game itself and the fact I was on the verge of two multis coming up winners. Alas, it wasnโ€™t to be, like the Browns failed mine both failed on one browns player each. 1.5yts to Chubb gets me $95, 8yrds to Landry gets ย me $590.ย

The Browns/Ravens game was an absolute beauty.ย  Highlights aplenty!

The Browns lost no friends and they will be more than nuisance value if they figure in the playoffs

Meanwhile the Rams & Packers are likely to meet in the playoffs unless 1 or both teams get knocked out early

Not sure what to make of the bye ... the Packers need continuity but maybe they don't?ย  We should win out but the Titans game is tricky.ย  Bears in week 17 might not be relevant

The only thing the browns did wrong in the end really was they left too much on the clock but you canโ€™t manage that when you need to score a TD.
ย

in regards to GB matchup, Not even looking that far ahead. We have a winless team this week and Iโ€™m worried as hell!!! Then Seahawks and Cards who are looking for a wildcard spot and Seahawks want to win the division.ย
cant see Seattle losing so rams must win all games.

At Seattle without a crowd ... even money bet

You'll take care of Arizona at home in week 17 and as for the J.E.T.S,ย  you're worried?

The line should be 35 for that game!!

Mate Iโ€™ve seen enough of my teams stuff it up vs crap teams and now Darnold is going to be replaced he will be out to prove to other teams he is worth taking.

Vital point picked up by 'Go the Biff' when no one else picked up a point (the Saints knocked most out)

Just a reminder that we play for 2 points this week and also in week 16 whilst in week 17 we play for 3 points.ย  So a total of 7 points are still available.ย  For most of us,ย  we'll need to take some risks

Good luck all! (a few standouts but it's still a tricky week)

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
