Well, I'll kick things off for the coming round.

Rohan Bail to come in to the team for the Freo game.

I think this a given, having read DB's article about possible changes and going in witha running team!

I think the clue is DB wants run..and lots...all day. Bail fits that..and is a reward for greatwork in the magoos.

am going a little left field..

Note to self - get in with the prediction before WJ!

I'll say Demons by 26 pts......we start brightly nullifying Freo & the crowd factor, maintain the 2 goal lead for the day and kick away!

I'll go with something a little left field just for interest.

The Dees and Kanga's to set a cat amongst the pigeons by both winning this Sunday. Come Monday we'll hear/read supporters of both camps (and the odd-journo) spruik that the AFL went early on the Rd 22 fixture.

Bail and Warnock in- Cheney & PJ out. Junior will not play due to his first game back would be a risk on the Subi ground. Dees to win by 15 points.

For our game, I'm picking Jurrah to top the goalkicking this week for us.

Pity he missed the easiest of the lot or I would have had it.

Freo to kick a goal within the 1st minute of play in at least 2 quarters.

Funny. We did that.

Ballantyne 5 goals

Frighteningly close this one. He wound up with 4

Dee's take them on and totally dominate for a 30pt plus win.

Watts turns the corner and plays his best game to date.

Headlines: "No Barlow, No Dockers" as Freo comes crashing down from the early season cloud.

From the stats Watts came pretty close to the best he's been for us. If he'd nailed those set shots it would have been a certainty.

Some pretty good efforts from people this week I would think.

    The Mighty Demons take on the confident Cats this Saturday night at the recently completed $319 million redeveloped GMHBA Stadium, with the bounce of the ball at 7:15pm. Our last game of 2023 was an agonisingly close 5-point semi-final loss to Geelong, and we look forward to Melbourne turning the tables this week. Practice match form was scratchy for both teams with the Demons losing practice matches to Carlton and Port Adelaide, while the Cats beat Collingwood but then lost to Essendo
