Luke Tapscott

Matt Burgan has certainly invigorated that site. There is a Q&A with Luke after his return with Casey magoos, plus a picture of the young fella.

He is built like a brick shithouse

Not wrong. His neck looks like he should be in the WWF, or whatever its called nowadays.

Cannot wait for this bloke to get in the mix.

Looks like he'd give Frawley a run in the gym...

And he's only, what 18yo?? Bloody ripper.

Early bloomer I'd guess. I'd be surprised if he got much bigger, if any at all. I reckon of all those we drafted he'll be the one that hits full pace first. That is one hell of a neck.

It seems a bit unusual seeing such a well built kid. We've almost universally gone for the skinny kids in recent years.

It's the WWE nowadays, it clashed with the WWF (World Wildlife Fund or whatever it is) so they had to change it. Entertainment makes more sense as it's obvious how scripted it is :P

And that's one big brick shithouse

Hmmmmm, Perhaps Luke can show Morton some of his weight room habits...............

We've got our new training rooms. Maybe we can also recruit Mrs Tapscott as our diet and conditioning coach.

I know he's built like one, but should we call him 'tank' tapscott?

I saw that photo on someone else's computer from a distance, and I was dead-set sure it was Frawley.

What are they feeding this kid?

and maybe watts as well?

Really bad luck slipping on a sprinkler head... I'm not sure if this was during an mfc training event.

If it was at training then it's bad management to let this happen.

The playing list is our future and we can't take chances training on sub standard surfaces...

The Eagles used to trot out quite a few well built kids (at least after one pre season with them)in the 90'S :)

He's already got a nickname - Paws - as in Luke.......................................Tapscott.

Gotch's review

""Luke Tapscott: We brought Luke in for his first game, and he’s going to be a good player. He showed enough in his first game, which was really pleasing. He was able to impact the game as a half-forward or midfielder, and he would have had 18 to 20 possessions, even though he wouldn’t have played more than 65 to 70 per cent of the game. He’ll only get better. There were just a couple of skill things, the under pressure sort of things that he’ll get better at. He’ll hit those targets by hand and foot. There were just a couple of little things in the game, when he might have got a little bit tired or fatigued because of the pressure. He has a lot of pressure skills, too - he likes to tackle, and likes to be hard, which is good. So, he was really impressive first up - he got through, and he’ll build on that.""

another likely lad :)

Hmmmmm, Perhaps Luke can show Morton some of his weight room habits...............

and eating habits..

Is he on the Jack Grimes Program of a few years ago. Get him through a few games and bring him in for a taste in the last couple of games. Hopefully Blease can also stay healthy and we see him against North.
