I can't deal with the "Macdonald was solid" "Grimes was slow" bollocks.

Absolutley.

He looked tired today. Dar-win at a cost?

And I wouldn't get ansty about JB being unable to properly summise in three words. Hard to do.

Must be incredibly busy, JB. Only has time for the 22 names and a further 66 words.

That's 88 words.

Mustn't be paid by the word I guess...

Maybe it's like golf. He gets paid lots for the word but proportionally less per word...

Rivers - Not an AFL Player. Should not be selected agaian.

Won the rising star as a mature body playing a lose man in defence, and has done nothing since. How long can he get a game based on playing the easist postion on the ground, then spending the next 5 yrars injured???

Hardly VFL Standard. Most overated play in the AFL. Delist.

Both teams that played in Darwin last week had shockers today, let's not underestimate the toll the conditions took.

I will totally disregard that game today.

Agreed. No team who has ever played in Darwin has won the following week. And, to have Geelong at Geelong in that follow-up game...

However, I don't think Bailey and the team will disregard the game. Rather, they will note it down as another valuable learning experience for the young and developing team. Important lessons will have been added to the Bank as we move forward toward our new, glory days, which undoubtedly will come.

Bartram - as always, tries hard

Bennell - worst game for season, but don't drop him

Bruce - not the worst

Davey - good but swamped

Frawley - our best defender

Garland - struggled

Green - our classiest player

Grimes - battled hard but swamped

Gysberts- excellent debut

Jamar - looking forward to mid season break

Jetta - no influence, steep learning curve

Jones - great endeavour,lacks class

MacDonald - solid effort

McDonald - below par

Miller - back to default position

Moloney - worked hard but swamped

Morton - some positive signs

Rivers - swamped

Sylvia - one last chance

Warnock - swamped

Watts - steep learning curve

Wonaeamirri - some good forward pressure, but needs to contribute more

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.     A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
