I don't think you guys have much of an idea how AFL footy works and what supporters expectations are.

I actually expect more from our club and will not make excuses for them. I call it as I see it. Sometimes I get it wrong. I am not blinded by loyalty. I absolutely expect success soon and if not I demand changes.

I also reckon if someone has a different point of view to mine, so be it. I wont hammer them on it.

I am not so sure that some that cast the aspersions on here are all that they think they are!

This post comes across to me as patronising, towards those on Demonland who didn't like the tactics employed on Sunday. Sure, most (me included) over-use the word 'gameplan', but I still believe that putting 17-18 men behind the ball isn't a good move, regardless of whether it's flooding, or the coach's best idea of how to win a game, or whether it's just the players reacting to a game situation.

And I think you should respect other people's views.

Patronising, yeah maybe. I think you've taken it to heart a bit. Considering the post followed several light hearted banter posts.

Fwiw, whether there is an instruction to push the players up the ground, etc (debatable - * Note Bailey denied "flooding*) it can be determined as part of a game plan. It was a comment made in light of views expressed (in the Game plan thread) that Bailey doesn't have a game plan - even though it was acknowledged (& disliked) that players looked to be being played behind the ball leaving not much up forward in the Freo game (ie. a plan ?). Which I find quite enlightening.

I'd like to think I respect other's views more often than not, where applicable.

I know it has been said before and will be said again but bring on the season. That way we can discuss the gameplan (or lack thereof), the players efforts (or lack thereof), the skills (or lack thereof) and where we really are at after seeing a REAL game or two rather than this mickey mouse competition that each of the 16 clubs view and treat differently that the others.
