Hiram Cowfreak 79 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 My colleague at work told me he was on his way to Perth last week and in front of him in the queue to board the flight were PJ and Michael Newton. I didn't think anything of it at the time, and I might be barking up the wrong tree totally but maybe they're over there seeking to continue their careers? He also commented that PJ was an exceptionally handsome man, maybe he has been travelling a bit much lately

Wouldn't lose any sleep if the club decided to buy them out though.

Maybe MFC could pay them out, instead of front loading players salary's? could be another way of taking MFC salary cap to 92.5%?
rpfc 29,023 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Or maybe, just maybe, they were going to Perth? For a holiday? To elope? Something non-football related?
45HG 1,559 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 But if footballers do something not football-related...they wouldn't be footballers? Oops...Walked into that one

He also commented that PJ was an exceptionally handsome man, maybe he has been travelling a bit much lately really ? my best friends aunt says she saw those two having a delicious jurrah coffee at the airport. She was convinced they were heading to Mumbai, India to further their careers in the coffee market. She's 87 you know. Sharp as an axe her hubby tells her. Coffee is a wonderful market to pursue I'm told. Nothing here. Just conversation.

Adzman 2,154 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Too hard to pick up Chicks in Melbourne because Melbournian women know they are not stars. In WA they might be able to get away with throwing the "AFL star" tag around. Kidding, PJ is a decent bloke and I am sure both lads are knee deep in groupie <insert inoffensive word describing local trollop here>
DeeM 42 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 hes in the training photo's so it wouldn't be the smartest thing to let him train with us then get rid of him

Bates Mate 4,520 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I hope Lynden and Master know about Newton's and PJ's budding bromance, could be some tension in the locker room
