If we get talia ill be really happy, in his highlights he was really versatile, tbh i saw a bit of jack watts in him from what i saw of the Under 18s.

Maybe that was just me.

i havnt seen talia but we sounds good lol...i think we keepboth 11 and 18 for KPF and then trade players like miller bell and our other higher picks

If we can nab someone like Boak or Dangerfield, trade it. Perhaps offer 11 and 18 for one of them?

Otherwise a good tall might be nice.

No chance. They are both worth top 10 easily.

Why do people think Dangerfield will leave?

It's been mentioned he wants to come home to Vic. These things change quickly though.

get talia with 11 and a KPF with pick 18

I've got an idea.

How about Best available at pick 11 and best available at pick 18.

Cyril Rioli slipped to pick 12. Would we pass him up bc we need KPPs more than small forwards?

If there is an outstanding prospect at pick 11 you take him, no matter what position.

The only consideration would be if 2 players were equally rated, one was a KPP the other a midfielder. then you could choose the KPP. If the midfielder is a better player, you take the midfielder

it would be funny watching his rating skyrocket on here all of a sudden if he did.

Agreed, if he read half the dribble on here and the slangings he has copped he may well tell us to belt it... won't slip to 11 though, far too much potential, his kicking is not great but not as bad as some report.

kevin sheehan thinks talia will still be there at 11 (according to his and his panels phantom draft)

one of talia/panos/butcher and I'm a happy camper

the thing that puts talia after the first ten apparantly is because he has not dominated every game...

got this from contestedfooty.com.....

:Daniel Talia at 195 centimeters is one of the few quality big men in this draft pool, but at 79 kilograms may not be quite big enough to play as a tall at AFL level yet. The good news for the club that takes him is he is quick for his size and possesses good skills so he could easily start as a flanker and as a quarter in the championships showed he isn’t lost on the ball either.

Whilst this draft is widely recognized for its absence of hard tall players; Talia definitely isn't the cause of the problem. As a defender Talia is miserly and attacks the ball with great ferocity, as a forward he provides a good target and when unable to take the mark will at least attempt to bring the ball to ground.

Some people have Talia in their top 10 for this draft but if you were being more realistic a late first round-early second round draft position seems likely for Talia as he hasn’t really dominated many games."

I like the idea of him being our kozzi and watts being our reidwoldt...we can only dream i suppose

yeah i think he did play as a defender.

From his highlights he was all over the ground looked good to me.

But they are highlights.

If Jamar also wants out like rumored would Jamar and pick 11 be enough for port pick 6? I would also Love to do Mcnamara and 11 for 6.

Going up 5 spots doesn't seem like much but would probably allow us to get the best 2 mids in the draft and one of either Butcher or Rohan. Who would both be gone by pick 11.

Port would take either those deals if they are going to for one outside the square like they did last year with Hartlett i think. Its possible our FD wouldn't though.

umm, don't port have pick 8 in this years draft. i think the order is

us- 1 & 2

tiges - 3

freo - 4

kangas - 5

swans - 6

eagles - 7

port - 8

hawks - 9

dons - 10

blues - 11

lions - 12

crows - 13

pies - 14

dogs - 15

cats/saints - 16/17

Talia didn't even kick a goal in the U18 champs

Played as a defender?

Named All-Australian CHB, and shone in the final game when moved into the midfield.

Relax.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
