Brendan Fevola

Its seem after most off seasons, one name is always in the news for the wrong reason. Fevola. He doesnt seem to know how to behave is public when on the grog. His behavior at the brownlow shows how much of a fool he is. Good to see he is getting axed from footy show, but only a 10 grand fine isnt exactly the right punishment. Id be wanting more answers if he was on my team

What does everyone else think

I enjoy giving it to my Carltank suporter mates when he plays up.

He's an absolute moron. End of story.

He seriously reminds of that one kid in high school that is just a trouble maker and attention seeker and just lingers around, trying to make people laugh. And then when you sit next to him in class, you never get in work done because he's knocking your [censored] off your table or throwing stuff around the room.

He seriously must have the mentality of a 12 year old.

Octoberfest????

Hope he is not swapped to us for McLean! Fevola is an airhead and Carlton should delist him.

Does the word alcoholic mean anything to people? Personally I think the club should be putting him on the 12 step program and sending him to AA meetings. He has a serious problem and sooner or later he needs to accept that and start looking at solutions. If he keeps going this way he's going to wind up unemployed, divorced and broke.

His an absolute tool, dont mind him.

Dont no how id feel if i was a blues supporter or involved with him.s

It's even worse that he's encouraged to encounter his ridiculous drinking escapades.

The bloke is a highly-paid, immature, uncultured, arrogant, ignorant, narcissistic moron, who unfortunately enjoys support from some of the public and even more unfortunately, enjoys air time on prime-time television.

I've personally got no problems with him showing some personality. Its better than the stone-faced cliche stuff we usually see. Yeah, ok, he's an idiot after a few drinks, but no big deal.

I absolutely adore Fev.

In an age of players having all had coaching on maintaining a vanilla public persona, I like that there is a big larrikin willing to be himself and make the odd non-PC mistake.

Has he really hurt anyone? I think all the angst is ill-considered.

I'm just glad he doesn't play for the dees.

But I'd love to get on the gas with him again

So what, Fevola gets [censored] at the Brownlow. Good so would i after a long year. Chill out FFS

You all sound like Ned Flanders. Fev is a good Bloke who enjoys having Fun.

That is no crime....

Travis Johnstone used to get smashed at the brownlow, no one cared

.... as much

I enjoy seeing this happen, brings a more joyful entertainment out of football.

T.J wasnt out of control like fev was.

I dont think you saw what he actually did.

Great, we have gone from bagging players to slandering their wives/girlfriends. Hope you are proud of yourself.

He is the epitome of the term, "Cashed up Bogan". He can't help it. He was hatched that way.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
