im sure that if i could convince him that there was a positive story about melbourne hed do a report on it.

ive suggested comparing this preseason to last preseason, when we had a lot less players fit, trained all over the place, and didnt have goal posts till round 4, whereas this year we are training early, less injured players, and have a ground with goalposts already

not to mention we have cut a lot of debt

and jimmy and dean seem to finally be changing the culture of the club for the better, and weeding out the crap elements and people as they go.

his exact words when i discussed this with him were, yeah but that'll take years.

This story would be guaranteed to hit the papers. Say we are looking at Cousins with our our pick number 1 in PSD.

A few days later we get another story saying he doesn't fit into our plan for the revival of the Dees. Then point out some of the guys we are developing, McNamara, Cheney, Aussie, Spencer, Maric, Grimes, Martin, Garland etc.

2. What about a piece on Demonland and the sad minds of the internet forum user?

3. He could do an interview with DemonRuckle who would explain how he spent most of last year at the pub drowning his sorrows with FatCat & Hector the Safety Cat and how great it is to be back at the club. Only problem is that I don't think he can talk.
