By all reports he's a quality bloke that had all the right attributes in terms of attitude and work ethic, but fell short where it counted. Best of luck to him for his future endeavours.

I met him a few times at Sandy and agree that he's a fantastic kid. I suppose he'll go back to the SANFL and in a couple of year's time he'll bob up on Adelaide's list.

Good luck for the future Isaac!

Bye Bye...looked totally lost in the games he got in the early bit of the season and in my eyes never looked able to play at AFL level

Unfortunately that counts for nothing when you make your debut in a 100 point thrashing, then play your second game in another 100 point thrashing. Things may have been different if he'd debuted at a different time of the year.

Isaac ...who ?? ;)

poor kid maybe.

but if you had the chance to pull on the red and blue for just two games, and they told you it had to be those, would you still do it?

if he is a good bloke and works hard, at least he can say he gave it his best, and got to play afl football. hold his head up high, not everyone is made for that. well done, thanks for your efforts.

You're damn right. He's done what he's always wanted to do. Anything more than that first game would have been a bonus.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
