To add to the games that i have seen him for Brighton Grammar- he won't be playing for us next year if He gets drafted, as he'll focus on Year 12 and play for Brighton

Its just the heartache from beating the dogs last year when we shouldnt of, otherwise we could get watts & naitanui, or watts and rich or rich and naitanui.

I still think we need to trade Col Sylvia or a player of his age to get another top 20 draft pick, we need as many as we can because after this year, no clubs will get good picks for a few years

Having said this, I think both Watts and Naitinui would both be risky selections. In Rich we are garuanteed a classy midfielder.

From what I have seen of him playing live he just looks like an average player. Obviously a good set of mits but I dont see him really impose himself on a game.

I hope you're right YM. But last weeks game was an opportunity lost to shaft WCE.

To paraphrase an article in todays Age suggesting tongue in cheek how upset Worsfold was at the outcome; it talks about how in the 20's and 30's players were paid to "play dead" at times, and that is cheating.

"But when you pick a team that is not very good, that's not cheating and that's not tanking. It just means you have picked a team that is not very good".

I just hope we pick a team that is not very good against Port! Because I think some of our youngsters might be getting a sniff of just how good they can be, which I'll be most happy about after we ensure our drafting is as good as it can be.

I've seen Watts 'live' now 3 times. He's all class. He's fast, moves beautifully, his coach David Dickson at Metro says he's the best mark he's seen at junior level, he has superb kicking skills and at 194cms he's the best mover through traffic you'd hope to see.

Another poster on here that rates his own opinion very highly says that "he's possibly the best decision maker I've seen and that it's virtually impossible to tackle him. Unlike Judd, he doesn't break tackles, his opponents can't lay a hand on him".

Could of been mine. . Look, your above description I could not agree more or praise his ability to be able to manouevre through heavy traffic. I liken his reflexes in close - to a James Hird.

we could afford to take watts if we get a couple more top 20 draft picks, cos this is going to be a veeeeeery good draft.

I'd only take Watts if we can't get an assurance from (1st option) Rich or (2nd option) Naita that there won't be a 'go-home' factor for either of them. The last thing I want is for a reverse Chris Judd situation to happen
