Newton's a real chance to play-am a bit surprised

Excellent to hear Morton to be named in the center.

I would have Morton and Bell in.

I'd love to chuck in Newton instead of Bell but with the majority of the Bulldogs forward line being small in stature he'll have to come in.

Carroll and White serve no purpose at our club.

having trouble working out what the final side will be... Juice and Valenti are the first two i'd name, i think two of Martin, Bode and Bell will get a run...

I'd name Newton, Valenti, Martin, Bell as the final bench...

bench for mine should be Martin, Valenti, Newton, Bell

Valenti , Martin deserve to keep their place even if Martin didn't do much against Brisbane he should be given the chance to string a few games together

Would love to see Juice Newton given the rest of the season in the seniors to see if he has what it takes if not see ya

Also love to see bell given a chance to get his 2007 form back he is an important player for us going forward

Hasn't Frawley been going alright at Sandy? Bell named ahead of him is poor form IMO

Isn't it common knowledge that Newton just does not give a rats?

What claims do Carroll or White have on a spot?

With 2 injury OUTS it should be Morton and someone else like Maric, Frawley or Petterd given a run and the rest kept after a massive effort last week

Bode is the only one who could/should be dropped as he has been in for 4 weeks for a total of 27 disposals, its not right for the likes of Martin and Valenti to get pushed out for these blokes

Disappointed

I'll have a go and pick Bode, Martin, Valenti, Newton.

I'm not. There's always need for another tall forward, as only Miller is our real out-of-the square big-type KP player, and even he doesn't play there for whole games.

Juice kicked 4 last week and 2.7 the week before. Perhaps they really do just need to see where he is over the space of 8 rounds. They need to know who is making way for all the draftees next year.

I imagine all the guys named on the ground will play, so Morton's a definite in

I think the interchange might be D.Bell, S.Martin, M.Newton, S.Valenti, with Carroll, White, and Bode to miss.

That'd be Morton and Bell for McLean and Davey, with one of the half-backs given more time up the ground, I guess.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Carroll replace one of Bell or Martin from those four, though.

don't be disappointed... it's been a pattern all season when the younger blokes have been dropped they've spent a few weeks down at sandy before coming back... And when they have returned to the side, they do seem to be much better for the run in the 2's...

Chip played for Sandy the last 2 weeks, not doing a whole lot the first week, then having a good game last Sunday... I think Bails will give him a couple more weeks down there to continue to work on his game before he's brought back up...

Further, Bell will match up better on the Bulldogs smaller forward line than Chip would...

think almost everyone is on the same page today...

wonder if we will be happy with the final team come sunday?

Peter Street has been named for the doggie's squad - may have an impact on our choices if he gets a game.

newtons last two weeks were good as well as his second efforts and 1 %'s from what i have read

Give Juice 2 the end of the season in the 1`s. If he doesn`t show anything offload him!

I'll have a go and pick Bode, Martin, Valenti, Newton.

That'd be my bench. I just think the team that played against Brisbane deserves another go after that victory. Just the forced chnges for me.

I dont think Bell or Newton deserve a spot in the Final 22.

In: White, Morton.

I can see both Newton and Carroll being included though. If Carroll gets a crack I dont mind but I dont think he deserves his place in the team just yet.

Pretty sure we will see Juice out there this week. I don`t think he would have been named unless they were serious about him getting a run. He is not injured, has playes some OK games in the 2`s, it`s now time to see what he can do for our footy club. If he can`t do something in the next 8 weeks he will be a nervous boy come trade week. I hope he shows us what he is capable of!

I think the majority would want Bell, Martin, Newton, and Valenti as bench.

Not me, can't stand newton and his attitude.

I'd be more concerned about his other 21 teammates who would have more of an impact on us.

It would have to be-

Interchange from: D.Bell, M.Newton , S.Valenti, J.White

Only because we need runners (Bell Valenti)

Foward (Newton)

and We need white back

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
