Will you renew your membership in 2020?
Shouldn't the question be "Will you spend the extra $240 on a grand final guarantee"

Who will be our caretaker coach mid next year if Goodwin is sacked ?
I agree with how bad it has been and how bad it looks but, Every player will get a min of 4 extra weeks of preseason and a lot will get an extra 8 to 12 weeks. This team has just looked unfit all year and that makes you miss easy kicks and handballs at this level. If the problem was deeper we would have heard a lot more come out. Interesting thing will be to see how many "if any" ask to be traded out.

He won't be sacked, this team will get a big preseason in and jump back up the ladder.

dumb club
Well if both Melbourne and Sydney are going to tank next week we need a name for the game.

I support Melbourne and Goodwin
I support Goodwin as well, and will until the club decided he is not the man for the job. However I have noticed the way Rhyce Shaw talks and challenges his players and can not remember Goodwin ever doing this. Check out the pic in todays Herald Sun " the look in his eyes as he is staring Jamie Macmillan say it all.

2 wins, 14 losses
Right at the moment i would be happy to have beaten all teams outside the 8 and no side in the eight. Well not happy but our season would not be dead just yet.

Full replay will be on the Melbourne website and App.- PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
MELBOURNE’S draft order has altered following the first round of the 2018 AFL Draft at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night. The Demons now hold picks 26, 31, 49, 56, 83 and 90, after activity on the first night of the two-day event shifted their initial selections. The move comes following three Academy bids from North Melbourne (Pick 8, Tarryn Thomas), Sydney (Pick 10, Nick Blakey) and Collingwood (Pick 13, Isaac Quaynor) which have pushed Melbourne's first pick from 23 to 26. Melbourne's current picks could still change position, with further Father-Son and Academy bids likely to occur. Melbourne chose not to partake in the newly-introduced live trading during the first round, meaning all the red and blue action will take place on Friday. The second day will commence at 12pm AEDT, with rounds two, three and four of the AFL Draft to be followed by the Pre-Season and Rookie Draft. - Post Practice Match Discussion - Melbourne v Collingwood
