  1. Just going off what I’ve read, I’ve been out of the country for 5 weeks so haven’t seen any footy for a while.
  2. Wildcard weekend will never make more sense neither will more teams. I read that next year Tasmania will have an AFLW team, so another team into a league that has already expanded way too quickly. I read in another article that the AFLW is currently running at a loss in the millions each year. I’m all for a women’s competition but it should have been 4 teams from Vic with 1 each from QLD, NSW, WA & SA. Bringing a ninth team in Tassie would mean they could have a top five playing finals and had a decent product, and it should remain at this many teams for the next twenty years. The men’s competition has been around for how long and we don’t have talent for 18 teams. Just the game alone & fix the basics ie umpiring, tribunal.
  3. When do the interviews start?
  4. Agreed, if Trac was better in front of goal we might be thinking different but he’s not. Happy if he stays, if only we had a coach….
  5. Whilst I agree who are all of their big stars?
  6. Can’t open links, when do the Brisbane Lions start appearing?
  7. About 6-8 weeks back there was a lot of keep Trac and trade Oliver from posters including myself, i think things have done a 180.
  8. Our issues were bigger than Oliver’s form.
  9. Greeting from the Big Apple, Just seen the scores, finish the job Dees, we owe these p…..
  10. So he’s had the season we’ve had and he strolled on in thinking it’s just another normal board meeting….so we’re to believe he honestly thought he was safe and didn’t feel the need to present differently to the board because it was considered a normal / routine board meeting. What did he discuss then? He’s been involved in footy long enough to know he was in trouble, and now some are calling the his sacking a mistake, comical.
  11. Been saying this for weeks, posted some of his highlights two pages back.
  12. It’s just been revealed that any potential suitor for the coaching role will have to answer this question. Will Petty be moved back into defense?
  13. Really hope we get an untried coach. We’ll know soon enough.
  14. No one in the media saw this coming today, they a were all pedalling the same story, no one in a position to make the hard call. Yet now they all know who are our preferred options to replace Goodwin, hopefully it’s another case of why we distract you over here we’re doing something over there and our new coach surprises all. Someone across the the current style of game would be ideal.
  15. When Goody had Gawn on his shoulders & vise versa at the grand final after party, now there’s a memory.
  16. Will be having a couple of Wild Turkey tonight whilst rewatching the 2021 GF highlights, will never forget that day but also really looking fwd to what next year brings.
  17. Two records in two weeks.
  18. Waiting till the end of the season was fraught with danger. I’m proud of my club, clearly his potential payout was considered but so was a player and fan exodus. The club can breathe again and suddenly footy seems fun again. There will be a shoot out at the G this weekend.
  19. You’re joking surely.
  20. Having the uncertainty surrounding Goodwin is / was not good for player retention. Thanks for 2021 Goody, you will forever be remembered for that! Proud the club had what it takes to make the right / tough call, many didn’t see this coming, we move fwd now. Back to playing finals in 2026.
  21. Can’t have players potentially wanting out due to the uncertainty surrounding this whole thing.
  22. 1 of 2 ways, 1st : (the simplist way) just simply place your 1st bet, go to the list of betting options for the game and go to “Big win little win” and select the opposition to win by 40 +. At the moment Dogs are paying $1.32 head to head, so for 40+ you might get $1.65. Let’s say you bet $100 you would get $165 back. Wait till the end of the round and repeat the process on the next game this time though your betting $165. Same principal as a standard multi but it’s done over separate weeks. 2nd : contact Sportsbet direct and ask them to frame a market for Dees to lose next 3 game by 40+ and they will give you odds for your bet. Out of interest two years ago I did something similar but asked for odds of North going winless for the season for a novelty bet. I think they gave me odds of $7 for my $100 bet. I would of gotten better value placing my initial bet and keep rolling it over myself.
  23. Just keep rolling it over.
  24. Very interested to see what plays out with Oliver, he self destructed.
  25. Let’s start by playing Pertty back in defence and Turner seems to be doing ok. Bowey and Rivers also played in the premiership.
