  1. Become a member, time automatically cut by a third.
  2. Has to be Hawks over Swans, both Sydney and Richmond have a tough runs home but Richmond are more likely to come unstuck, Swans are the bigger threat for the 4.
  3. May now not playing for the Suns.
  4. Jack Riewoldt is a big out for the Tigers with May and Ablett back for the Suns. Surely a chance of an upset, and if Port, Sydney and Melbourne win the Tigers could slide to as low as 7th. Tigers final four games are against the Hawks, Cats, Freo (away) and St.Kilda at the G which could be a send off for N Riewoldt and Montagna. Tigers missing the 8 is still a possibility. Hawks are a chance against the Swans, they are the only team to have beaten Sydney in the last 11 weeks. 3 out of Sydney's next 4 games will give us a more realistic idea of how they're travelling. Hawks Dees Giants Power Suns Cats Bombers Ctows Eagles
  5. I thought your place on the ladder after 17 rounds only dictated who you played twice, I didn't realise that the ladder was locked.
  6. Agree, we know that if players aren't right they don't play. Our last 5 games are very winnable and % could be the difference between finishing 3rd and 6th.
  7. I also don't see why we can't win our remaining 5 games. We also need to at least put 2 of those teams to the sword. % could be the difference between 3-6 on the ladder.
  8. I agree with your tips but we have to hope that the Hawks can continue to trouble the Swans.
  9. I'm glad you excused the interstate members.... I've flown down twice this year for the Carlton and Collingwood games, my partner who went to her first game on QB wanted to book flights shortly after getting home so we could go again (she loved Melbourne and going to the footy), but due to finances we decided to wait until finals. Should we play Swans/Giants in Sydney we can attend or fly down for a Melbourne final. After lunch I am booking 4 tickets for the Canberra game where I expect to see all 27,068 of you there. And when we make the GF thanks to my Redlegs membership I'm guaranteed a ticket so not sure who I'll see then. Luckily we have Fox Footy and when working can watch it on the AFL app on my phone.
  10. North are down and we owe them, they have owned us for years.
  11. Might have to eat my words about Richmond....Farrrrrrrk. What does this say about the Giants. Can we win our next 5 games.
  12. David King : No reduction for Greene due to earlier 2 week suspension. Should cop 2 weeks.
  13. Richmond getting exposed, again.... They would be close to full strength which should be a worry. SUNS : Metricon HAWKS : MCG GEELONG : Simmonds FREO : Domain SIANTS : MCG Could still miss the 8.
  14. No they shouldn't, not yet. Who have they beaten? Yes they're a good side but the only good sides they have played in their 10 wins out 11 games were the Giants and us. Both teams at the time had significant injuries which could of quite easily reversed the result. 3 out of their next 4 weeks they face Hawks (MCG), Cats (Simmonds) and Crows (Adelaide oval), if they win those 3 then yes they deserve to be premiership favourites, if they lose those games the last 11 weeks counts for nothing. They would go into finals with a question mark hanging over them.
  15. Port MCG North Blundstone GWS Canberra Saints MCG Lions MCG Pies MCG Giants are very beatable, no reason why we can't get on a roll in these last 6 weeks.
  16. Who do you have us beating and losing to?
  17. VDB may no longer be an automatic best 22.
  18. Thanks Clint, I realised my mistake when I was putting my multis on, I still think if their mids can get the upper hand they are in with a shot.
  19. I'm giving the Lions at home a chance over the Tigers.
  20. Richmond before last night were supposedly an in form team. Swans last 4 wins Suns Dees minus 5-6 first 18 players Bombers Tigers Not much to write home about there. Their next 4 Giants, Saints, Hawks and Cats will tell us more about how they're travelling.
  21. I still believe we're the inform team of the competition when you look at/compare who we've played.
  22. As much as these injuries are hurting us they're also making us stronger. Players able to play multiple roles, playing as a team with a never say die attitude.
  23. A lot of love for Jetta and understandably so, but I thought Frost also played well, I liked his smother of the attempted underground handball. Hunt and Hannan also very good. Vince frustrated at times but also did some good things. Pedo's one hander against Weitering.
  24. Richmond supporters claiming they didn't turn up. 6-7 weeks out from finals and being one of the supposed two in form teams of the competition. If they don't finish top 4 a finals performance like that will see them bundled out in the first week, again. To be honest they pushed a few teams I thought they would struggle against but last night they showed their true colours, the Tigers of old are back.
