  1. They’ve already stated he could earn as much as 500k. That was late last season.
  2. Was just reading Robbo has also been dumped by SEN. Great news.
  3. Note to self....I’ll re-read my membership.
  4. Is “Be part of the journey” the slogan for both men’s and woman’s teams or just the woman’s?
  5. I though KB went alright by himself along with his regular guests. Don’t see a need for him to be paired off.
  6. Is it a full time gig for Dr Turf or just his normal cameo’s?
  7. I read he has the 9am - 12 slot Monday to Friday. Did KB also get the boot?
  8. I also got two scarfs, and was that the best photo of Petracca they could find....
  9. I used to work somewhere that when they sacked someone they were escorted of the premises for fear of damage or theft.
  10. That she is but I'll hold the horses for now, prior to round 23 this year I had her looking at possible flights....
  11. That sucks, expensive return flights and flying on a Wednesday (that's too early for my liking). We usually fly down on a Thursday after work and back on a Monday/Tuesday. I'm originally from Melbourne so I have family and friends down there and have accomodation options, plus Melbourne has great public transport. The effort you guys put in driving over is massive, hats off to you, and yes gotta love Fox Footy.
  12. Anyone who's interstate.... Jetstar has a sale on today, flights from Sydney to Melbourne starting at $35. The wife just booked us return flights for Rd 1 v Geelong and Queens Birthday. Bring on 2018.
  13. Your efforts in this thread are much appreciated LH.
  14. Is Tom McDonald a better shot on goal than Hogan?
  15. Beat me to it, just got home from work.
  16. Watching all of this years finals I found it interesting as to how many skilled key forwards from all teams we're so easily shut out of games.
  17. I'm still coming to terms with Richmond winning the flag, and on a lesser scale the Bulldogs. Both teams far from the most skilled in their respective years but manic pressure in their attack on the ball/ball carrier and get the ball forward at any cost got them across the line. Our players still struggle with the concept of coming to play every week.
  18. I was taking the .... DC. We got bent over paying any amount of Watts wage considering how many players Port have acquired. Whilst not all of them were top end (in terms of money not necessarily talent) none of them are 1st or 2nd year players. Then to cap it off they offload Lobbe for pick 2482 to free up salary cap space for themselves. It's Ports job to manage their salary cap not ours. They should of made one of their overrated players take a pay cut.
  19. Are we also paying part of his salary?
  20. I just read your post quickly (I'm at work) 2018 marks my 14th year as a Redleg, I was under the impression that a reserved seat cost extra? I thought the standard Redleg allowed you to sit level 2 , Great Southern Stand N1 - N4 first in gets pick of seats. N5-N6 is for reserved seats. Thats what I've thought all this time.... Having said that I'm probably wrong.
  21. Is that an interstate membership Hardtack? And if so what does that give you? cheers
  22. Is Frost in it? And your thoughts on not going after Rockliff. cheers
  23. Next stop : European court of human rights.

Having a strong VFL side doesn't always equate to real AFL depth. Grimes : if not sitting on 98 games would he have even played? His VFL numbers mean little when you consider how long he's been in the system and how they stack up when playing senior footy. Age 27 Newton : 2 games. Age 24 Michie : 4 games. Age 24 Dawes : 6 games (was injured but has been passed by others) Age 28 Garland : 6 games. Age 28 Lamumba : 5 games. Age 29 turning 30 in November. 2 years to run on what we would assume to be a reasonable contract. Concussion issues, may never play again. Spencer : 0 games. Age 27 turning 28 next month. Trengove : 3 games. Age 25. It's a big wait and see. Are any of the above really going to have any kind of substantial impact at the top level at any club again? M Jones, Dunn may get a look in at another club. JKH and ANB both are contracted for next year and could be argued both are still developing. Ben Kennedy would be considered a quality depth player. Yes there are others I may have missed but it's late and I'm tired. When I look at like this I seriously question what depth we really have.
