  1. Not sure if this will work but if you’re still stuck, go to the MFC site (mobile site) and click those little 3 lines on the top right then scroll down to tickets option. It then takes you to a page where you can click ‘ Your Barcode’ followed by My Melbourne Football Club account page. It asks for your email or create account. Might be able to access your barcode that way. I’m unable to post a link to that page for some reason, hope the above makes sense.
  2. All The Goals are up on the club’s website. Beauty!
  3. Good point bingers, we just don’t protect the ball carrier enough, to my eye anyway. It was evident early against the Dogs. Our boys just seem to run by a teammate carrying the ball with arms wide open just calling for it. I watched a few of last year’s games over the summer and this is why I think Pickett will turn into a really good footballer. In many of those games his job wasn’t done when he fed a handball off, he made sure he found an opponent to put some contact on and give his teammate some time and space.
  4. All I know Luci is the info from an email the club sent a couple of weeks ago.
  5. Anyone aware if team announcements are returning to the usual time of 6:25pm Thursday night this season? Covid or not, wasn’t a fan of waiting until the night before a game last season for the team to be listed.
  6. They’ve played for each other tonight. Great cohesion, i don’t want this game to end....brilliant watch.
  7. Did Hanks hit the post or did goal ump think it went the wrong side? Looked a goal to me
  8. These tackles....ferocious attitude tonight
  9. Lampard has been terrific so far.
  10. The All- Star Mile was a cracking race I thought fellas, the roar was unbelievable for only 9,000 people there. Nothing beats crowds in sports.
  11. Where’s your sense of humour Max? Just come out and say “ We Suck”, then if we miss finals it’s not just ‘talk’. Gonna be a long 9 days.
  12. Congrats Majak. Simply my observations from venturing out West yesterday, some others might have seen different. As mentioned previously he only played a half. He started full forward and was our main target. He led up to the 50 several times in the first quarter (we sat directly behind our forwards) and the pleasing thing was he was able to get his hands to the ball first in pack situations. The Dogs were well drilled all day and didn’t allow us space and time from the start. Daw was always fighting two and three blokes. I wanted to see him stick a few marks which wasn’t the case early but at least he brought the ball to ground close to the packs. By the end of the quarter he took a couple of marks. His work rate off the ball was good, never gave up a chase and we were chasing all day. He got his goal in the second quarter curtesy of a free but that was more to do with good positioning. Not sure how we use him going forward but wish him nothing but good luck, you just never know.
  13. Nice little patch here, good character shown.
  14. When Hunt was run down earlier for holding the ball two players were nearby with arms open asking for the ball, good to have options but they have to be alert, talk and protect the ball carrier. Happens too often with us. Better end to the quarter though.
  15. 98-28 at the final break. Not much else to report, Petty solid all day, Kozzie still buzzing around. If this was the game to choose between Declase or Daw I’d be going Daw for a list spot. Thanks for tuning in, I’m following Goody and Yze out the door.
  16. Haven’t seen Daw this half so far and he’s not on the bench, possibly rested along with Gus as I didn’t notice he was sore or anything like that. Score 85-21 and rain settling in.
  17. Laurie started half forward and to be honest he hasn’t been involved a lot. Declase I haven’t noticed much either, I think he’s playing on the wing.
  18. Gus a lot more involved this quarter, accumulating some possessions and delivering forward. Hasn’t moved from the centre corridor. Petty going well, has taken a few intercept marks and read the play well. He’s on Schache and has only got away from Petty once this quarter.
  19. Daw with his first goal courtesy of a free kick. Unfortunately all Dogs, 61-20
  20. Quarter time and it’s 49-13 Dogs. We had a really good patch in the middle of the quarter where the movement was quick and the forward line looked lively. Unfortunately after Kozzie hit the post which would have brought us within a kick the Dogs slammed 4 quick ones to end the term. Kozzie our best, Farmer very lively up forward and Majak took a couple of strong marks in the end which will do his confidence no harm. Gus looks like he’s doing a lot of strong inside mid work. I was at the forward end but did notice Petty take a nice intercept mark.
  21. Majak is getting hands to the ball but struggling to mark, Rosman roved well off the pack and snaps our first, followed quickly by a smart Farmer goal. 23-12
  22. He was in everything the first 5 mins or so and running both ways. Was rested after 6 mins and just came back on and has continued working hard. So far he looks fit to me bda.
  23. Our defence is working overtime at the moment. We haven’t been poor, Dogs’ pressure is off the charts allowing us no space at all . 22-0 after 15.
  24. No problem, Dogs off to a flyer 13-0 after 5. Kozzie our most lively so far
  25. Gus and Pickett starting in middle, Majak and Rosman forward.
