What about Gus and Fritsch BBP? And May playing with one leg. Debate the label but all did their part.

What they are saying at Carrara
Yeah lol, that particular poster was corrected and edited the original post. I posted the unedited version for clickbait purposes.

What they are saying at Carrara
Not much. • I should mention that Christian Salem is injured in case anyone doesn't already know so that is a blow to their midfield. • Don't like our chances but I am going to get to the game and make sure the beer taps are working in the Lounge. Noble man that I am and what not.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
When asked about possible complacency from the Dees, Garry Lyon ‘On The Couch’ highlighted Hunt’s effort late in the game when the match was just about done and dusted. Repeat sprints to eventually lay that crunching tackle on Daniel which almost got us a goal from Nibbler. It was evident last year and good to see the good habits of playing until the final siren has continued.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Fair corkie Petty must’ve copped on the calf if he’s another 3-4 weeks away. He was 3-4 after surgery in mid Feb.

A Day at the Races
Yeah got around $8.50 for all three to place and threw it on last minute. Fair value I thought today Macca and all of our picks weren’t far away from winning either.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
From where I sat Grouse I thought Harmes worked tirelessly both ways and that’s our mantra. Once again we had the top 5 on ground for fastest average speed in defence. Can’t say I noticed many muffed possessions by Harmes. Others can disagree but I thought he was good on the night.

Any chance we get a Dimma dummy spit in the presser later?

NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
3 goals to the left of screen and 14 to the right so far. That’s the only observation I have out of tonight.

Impressive quarter by the Blues, the test is to keep this intensity up for another half.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
It was so good being back there watching this team. Seriously, Dogs got a run on for about 15 minutes and managed to kick 8 somehow. I thought we managed to stem the tide about 15 minutes into the second quarter and managed a couple of goals to be well within striking distance at halftime. Trac’s two-way running was unbelievable from ground level, what a performance by him. T Mac in defence stood out big time, some great closing speed and big spoils, thought he very good. Above all, what a mature outfit we are witnessing. With all the reshuffling after Salo and Lever a late out that was a very impressive performance.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
I just read Hibbo has been ruled out today, he hasn’t overcome some calf issue from a few weeks ago.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
With Rivers and Petty missing from the GF side Gus’s selections are Hunt and Smith to replace them and Max has gone with Hunt and Tomlinson. This is from their ‘selection segment’ on their podcast unless there’s a left field selection. Pretty obvious it would be those 3, interesting to see who misses out.

“Sound the Alarm” The Goody Mic'd Up Documentary
Listening to Ben Gibson on Gus & Gawny he stated a documentary on Goodwin mic’d up during the GF will premiere tomorrow night on AFL, by AFL I’m guessing on AFL live. About 36 minutes in duration and this would definitely be worth a watch for insights. Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere and wondering if anyone else has any details or heard about this.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
A couple of mixed messages here. Have a couple of friends that won’t decide until the day if they are going to the game next week and want to know if the general public can walk up to a ticket box on the night and purchase tickets. Someone posted here a week ago or so on another thread that ticket boxes will be open at the G and an article on AFL site also suggests the same. Has this changed in the last couple of weeks?

The club is doing a really good job lately of pumping the supporters up for the season.

A Day at the Races
Home Affairs for me too Macca, star in the making I believe. One of the horses I was involved in several years ago was trained by R and L Price so I’d like to see the stable do well, will keep an eye out for their runner (Count De Rupee) at those odds. Think It Over from Cascadian, She’s Ideel and Spanish Mission in no particular order for the latter 3. Was speaking to a mate in Sydney today and he says the weather is on the improve. Banking on the track drying out by Saturday to hopefully see Espiona use that devastating turn of foot we saw here in the spring. I think the wet has been slightly against her the last two starts but has raced well regardless. Coincidentally the mate I was speaking to has a horse in on Saturday at Gosford Race 3 No.15 Nominator $5 currently, one start for a third at Flemington back in September. 1st Emergency but they believe it will get a run.
