First game Rd 11 1988 v West Coast Best game attended also 2000 QF final against Blues. Worst game was v Richmond R12 2007. 11 goals down at half time made me leave early and head to the pub.

This is the Cats 11th prelim in the last 15 years. Phenomenal achievement whether you love them or dislike them. Like Brayshaw said, it’s bloody hard to win one game of footy, but one thing our boys have given us this season is the confidence to believe in them and most importantly it’s the belief they have in themselves. It’s been evident all year. They’ve given themselves the best chance possible to make the GF and I hope the stadium is covered in Red & Blue. It can only be a positive for the boys in the absence of those of us that can’t get there. No doubt the nerves will creep in later in the week as the realisation sets in we’re one game away from being one of the last two. In the meantime try and have a good week everyone.

It’s all about focus for the team. A regular training run and some of our blokes aren’t too bad with the round ball but one bit that clearly stood out comes about 2.08 into the video. May and Smith.

Posted this on another thread, maybe better suited here. Maybe there’s a chance for some of us to get there for the prelim mb. I hope I heard right on the news earlier when they said as of Monday Victorians can enter WA as long as they’ve had one shot of the vaccine. Didn’t hear any other details though.

Did anyone catch the news? I’m sure they said as of Monday only vaccinated Vics ( one jab required) can enter WA. Need confirmation.

For those wanting to disengage from footy until Game Day by listening to more footy content. Thought this was very honest with some Gus humour thrown in.

Very hard to get into the side right now. Thought Jones did present one of the more powerful moments from Saturday night. The vision of him next to Melksham and Hibbo, the hugs in the rooms from players and Goody, him clapping the song in the background. Very hard not to get a bit emotional watching that.

An Essendon supporter walking back to his seat had a tray full of beer in one hand, a cup in the other and was still appealing with the hands for insufficient intent. I would never risk one beer spilling let alone a tray pleading for deliberate.
