NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
Pity most of the conversation is about the umps and the rules today, this is actually a cracking game.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
I’m pretty sure No14 inside the centre square paid the 50 for abuse against Gunston after he pointed to the scoreboard.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
Lol did umpire 14 pay the 50m penalty because Gunston pointed to some dark clouds in the horizon?

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
Glad it was just a fine, May definitely stuck his leg out intentionally.

The abuse rule is awesome, when it happens against Essendon.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
He was almost out the door, could be a case of his players saying not yet or Blues just can’t put 4 quarters together.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
We’ve seen it with us, did Port have 18 post-season surgeries? Ken might walk after this.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
Petty is an absolute gun Luci, he looks in terrific shape this year…was really noticeable. The few times May had a spell on the bench Petty was marshalling the troops as the deepest defender.

Low Attendance
Ticketing is a big issue from talking to people at work. Wonder if the MCG going cashless is another reason. There are some people left in the world that like to pay with cash. We probably have to temper expectations with crowds this year, Carl v Haw had a ripper crowd of 67k or thereabouts, the following week Hawks v Saints at the same ground get 30k.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
We really do prepare for everything the opposition might throw at us and it’s no wonder opposition coaches look bereft of ideas at times in the coaches box. It might have been brought up on Game Day, the Giants used one of their best defenders in Haynes on Lever in the early parts of the first and second quarters. Haynes tried to wear Lever like a glove for obvious reasons, but if you focus on one player May and Petty will chew you up. Hunt stepped in to block Haynes several times so Lever can try and do Lever things, that particular tactic didn’t work for them so they gave up on it quickly. Our boys just go the extra mile when it comes to supporting each other.

Goodness, into $2.85 to win the flag. Wonder if any team has been that short after R5.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
Slightly surprising to see only 20k on the big screen, it definitely sounded like there was a lot more there.

My 3 word player analysis v GWS
Viney - Goal a game

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
He was brilliant, maximum damage when Charlie touches the ball. 3 goal assists and 9 score involvements, he’s a beauty.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
It’s an absolute joy watching this team at the moment. Observing from ground level our running capacity is just incredible and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it before to be honest.

Trac’s out there warming up. Doesn’t look like top of Ponsford is open @binman

100% Game Time
Langdon was interviewed in the ‘Off the track’ segment the club puts up on its site during the week. I laughed when he said he’s still trying to find his groove this year, imagine when he does.

A Day at the Races
Cheers Macca, plan B is now a goer. Best Bet Oakbank Race 9 No.1 Deep Speed $2.8(W) A bit of weight on even after the claim, hence why I went with Grandslam originally. Good luck all.

NON-MFC: Round 5, 2022
Maybe they should use the ‘Precision’ footy, a two-coloured ball might be easier for North to find.
-
Gus and Gawny with Choco Williams
Williams can bust a move apparently, I’d love to see that.

A Day at the Races
Host of chances in that race…I’m struggling to pick the winner. @Gorgoroth I’ll choose Halvorsen for a top 4 spot if we throw one each in.

A Day at the Races
Exactly how I hope it pans out Macca. If it gets there without too much work early from the wide we should be happy and then it is every chance. And is this the first time we’re racing here in Vic on Good Friday?

A Day at the Races
Best bet Saturday Caulfield Race 7 No.12 Grandslam $6.5 (W) & $2.5 (P) Good luck and have a Safe and Happy Easter everyone.

TEAMS: Rd 05 vs GWS
Smith was in the team prior to the QF rpfc, he replaced Hunt for our R22 match after Hunt got injured in R21 and kept his spot until he was injured between QF and prelim weeks. I think some are forgetting that Hibbo was the one struggling for form late in the year having being dropped twice (R20 for Bowey and again R23 for May).
