That was amazing by Incentivise Macca. It will be interesting to see if they run it in the Cox, you would think the Valley would suit especially if it gets an easy lead and dictates. I did hear just prior to the race yesterday on the TV from the connections that they’ve trained it specifically for a back-up into the Cox if need be. Earlier markets had it as much as $16 from memory and now into $6 for next week. There were some good runs in the Cup by a few horses but always enjoy seeing top class salute in a big race. Kind of reminded me about our boys heading into finals, a few questions were asked then bang, bang, bang.

Good on Nature Strip but is Masked Crusader the new Chautauqua? Holy smokes did that thing fly home.

They were the last two for majority of the race and ended up spacing the rest. Well done Macca.

Yeah Gorg, No19. Was first emergency, now gives Waller 4 runners and all pretty much cricket score odds.

I only just realised my initial BB was scratched from Randwick to run in the Cup today. Gonna have to throw a couple of bucks on it just in case now.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs

It’s great isn’t it? Sometimes I don’t even watch the play anymore during the replay, I’ll look at the background for players reactions to certain plays. Spargo is my fav, always on his own somewhere back there clapping, cheering, fist pumping. A bit of a funny moment is when he spots up Fritsch for his 5th he does this little hop in the air shortly before Fritta marks almost like he’s urging the ball to land in his arms. -

Thanks Nicko, that was bloody brilliant! -
Good viewing today, fared much better than last week. Tad unlucky with the team multi, took all three to win and the one you suggested Macca, place/place/win. Was on Ellsberg, thought I had it until Aim flew home but Ellsberg fought it right out. Darren Flindell had Aim on top too. Great pick at $31.

Just had a look at the stewards report on RacingNSW. The leader ( Triple Ace) suffered an injury rounding the turn and Vangelic being directly behind it was severely checked. That caused interference to a couple of others as Vangelic shifted out. Jockey of Vangelic said that was pretty much it for the horse and didn’t ride it out. On the Racing NSW website they show a stewards view of the race which is slightly different to the one we saw on the TV. Can’t post a link to it for some reason, worth checking out.

I’m going Salem’s goal in the last because of his reaction. A smile of pure joy and happiness. Game was done by then, but the gather with one hand in amongst traffic was first class.

How far off were we from a perfect 2021?
Dee Zephyr replied to Gawndy the Great's topic in Melbourne Demons
Winning games when not playing our best was huge. In previous years one loss could’ve turned into a 2-3 loss slump. I wouldn’t count a draw and a loss on consecutive weeks two losses in a row. When was the last time we didn’t lose two games in a row in a season? -
Only interested in one tradition in 2022. Unfurling the Flag!!

Didn't think this past week could have got any better

These bloody scammers are everywhere. I received a call a few weeks ago from a mobile number I didn’t recognise at first, then realised it was my own number calling me. To say I was a little freaked out would be an understatement. So if you ring yourself don’t answer.
